Abstract
ABSTRAK Penelitian ini berjudul “Analisis Kebutuhan dan Penyediaan Guru Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri di Kabupaten Purwakarta”. Permasalahan yang dibahas dalam penelitian ini adalah tidak optimalnya pemerataan guru PNS SMP negeri di Kabupaten Purwakarta sehingga berdampak pada tidak tercapainya Standar Tenaga Pendidik dan Kependidikan pada Standar Nasional Pendidikan (SNP), serta membebani pembiayaan dana BOS pada sektor belanja pegawai karena kekurangan guru tersebut harus mengangkat guru honorer. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui kecukupan guru PNS pada SMP Negeri di Kabupaten Purwakarta Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan sumber data primer dan sekunder melalui studi dokumentasi dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data menggunkan metode proyeksi dengan pendekatan persamaan matematika. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pertumbuhan penduduk usia sekolah pada jenjang SMP bergerak positif namun pertumbuhan peserta didik berbanding terbalik. Kebutuhan guru mata pelajaran pada tahun 2025 adalah sebanyak 687 orang dan kebutuhan guru bimbingan adalah sebanyak 186 orang. Rekomendasi dari penelitian ini adalah Pemerintah Kabupaten Purwakarta harus menganggarkan Biaya Operasional Sekolah Daerah (BOSDA) dan pendidikan dan pelatihan dalam upaya pemerataan kompetensi guru. Selain itu direkomendasikan agar Dinas Pendidikan Kabupaten Purwakarta mempertahankan intervensi kebijakan dalam mengantisipasi tren penurunan siswa, serta meningkatkan upaya tersebut baik dari segi kualitas maupun kuantitas. Data collection techniques used primary and secondary data sources through documentation studies and interviews. The data analysis technique uses the projection method with a mathematical equation approach. The results shows that the growth of the school-age population at the junior high school level moves positively but the growth of students is inversely proportional. The need for subject teachers in 2025 is 687 people and the need for guidance teachers is 186 people. The recommendation from this research is that the Purwakarta Regency Government should budget for Regional School Operational Costs (BOSDA and education and training in an effort to equalize teacher competencies. In addition, it is certain that the Purwakarta Regency Education Office maintains an intervention policy in anticipating the declining trend of students, as well as increasing these efforts both in terms of quality and quantity.
