Abstract
Penelitian dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya perilaku prososial dan empati siswa kelas V SDN 2 Gudang Kahuripan Lembang Tahun Ajaran 2020/2021. Salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi perilaku prososial adalah empati, yaitu kemampuan individu memahami perasaan dan kondisi orang lain, sehingga empati berperan penting dalam pembentukan perilaku prososial. Siswa yang memiliki empati yang tinggi akan menunjukkan perilaku prososial seperti berbagi, menolong, kerja sama, kejujuran, berderma, menyumbang, serta mempertimbangkan hak dan kesejahteraan orang lain. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kontribusi empati terhadap perilaku prososial siswa kelas V SDN 2 Gudang Kahuripan Lembang Tahun Ajaran 2020/2021 serta implikasinya bagi layanan bimbingan dan konseling. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode korelasional. Pengambilan sampel pada penelitian menggunakan sampel jenuh sebanyak 31 siswa kelas V SDN 2 Gudang Kahuripan Lembang Tahun Ajaran 2020/2021. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: a) empati berkontribusi terhadap perilaku prososial sebesar 67,9% dan hasil signifikansi sebesar 0,000, artinya empati berkontribusi positif terhadap perilaku prososial siswa kelas V SDN 2 Gudang Kahuripan Lembang Tahun Ajaran 2020/2021; dan b) implikasi hasil penelitian bagi layanan bimbingan dan konseling yaitu wali kelas memberikan layanan bimbingan klasikal, bimbingan kelompok, layanan konsultasi, dan layanan kolaborasi yang terintegrasikan ke dalam pembelajaran tematik untuk meningkatkan empati dengan harapan perilaku prososial siswa akan berkembang pula. Contributions Empathy against Prosocial Behavior of Elementary Students in Bandung (Correlational Study of Class V Students of SDN 2 Gudang Kahuripan Lembang for the 2020/2021 Academic Year). This research is motivated by the low prosocial behavior of fifth grade students at SDN 2 Gudang Kahuripan Lembang for the 2020/2021 academic year. One of the factors that influence prosocial behavior is empathy, namely the individual's ability to understand the feelings and conditions of others, so that empathy plays an important role in the formation of prosocial behavior. Students who have high empathy will show prosocial behavior such as sharing, helping, cooperation, honesty, giving, donating, and considering the rights and welfare of others. This study aims to describe the contribution of empathy to the prosocial behavior of fifth graders at SDN 2 Gudang Kahuripan Lembang for the 2020/2021 academic year and its implications for guidance and counseling services. The research uses a quantitative approach with the correlational method. Sampling in this study used a saturated sample of 31 fifth grade students at SDN 2 Gudang Kahuripan Lembang for the 2020/2021 academic year. The results showed: a) empathy contributed to prosocial behavior by 67.9% and the significance result was 0.000, meaning that empathy contributed positively to the prosocial behavior of fifth graders at SDN 2 Gudang Kahuripan Lembang for the 2020/2021 academic year; and b) the implications of research results for guidance and counseling services, namely the homeroom teacher provides classical guidance services. group guidance, consulting services, and collaboration services with guidance and counseling experts are integrated into thematic learning to develop empathy in the hope that students' prosocial behavior will develop as well.
