Abstract
Pembelajaran saat ini lebih menitik beratkan kepada peserta didik, guru hanya sebagai fasilitator, sehingga sebagai guru harus lebih kreatif dalam merencanakan pembelajaran maka dari itu untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut diterapkan model Cooperative Learning Tipe Jigsaw dalam proses pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan partisipasi belajar peserta didik. Penelitian ini melibatkan peserta didik kelas VIII B SMP Islam Plus Assalaam. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode penelitian tindakan kelas. Teknik dalam pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil dari penelitian diantaranya : 1) Penyusunan Perencanaan pembelajaran dilakukan oleh guru PPKn dengan menggunakan model Cooperative Learning Tipe Jigsaw. 2) Pelaksanaan pembelajaran PPKn dengan menggunakan model Cooperative Learning Tipe Jigsaw dilakukan sebanyak 3 siklus dan setiap siklusnya mengalami peningkatan, baik dalam hasil observasi guru maupun peserta didik. 3) Hasil pembelajaran menggunakan model Cooperative Learning Tipe Jigsaw mengalami peningkatan dengan menggunakan indikator partisipasi belajar. 4) Hambatan dan solusi dalam model Cooperative Learning Tipe Jigsaw juga dilaporksn dalam penelitian ini. ABSTRACT Hilma Dwi Wulandani, 2021. “THE IMPLEMENTATION OF JIGSAW COOPERATIVE LEARNING MODEL IN TEACHING AND LEARNING PPKN TO IMPROVE STUDENTS’ PARTICIPATION IN LEARNING ACTIVITIES (A Classroom Action Research in Grade VIII B SMP Islam Plus Assalaam Sumedang)”. This study more focuses on students. The role of the teacher in this study is as a facilitator so that the teacher needs to be more creative in creating lesson planning. One of the attempts to overcome this problem is to apply a Jigsaw Cooperative Learning Model in the learning processes in order to increase students’ participation in the learning activities. This study involves the students grade VIII B in SMP Islam Plus Assalaam. This study employs a qualitative classroom action research method with three cycles. The data are collected through interviews, classroom observations, and document analyses. The data are analyzed through three steps such as reduction, presenting, and concluding the data. The findings of this study indicate such as: 1) the lesson plans used in this study were organized using the Jigsaw Cooperative Learning Model and created by the PPKn’s teacher; 2) the teaching and learning of PPKn using the Jigsaw Cooperative Learning method in each cycle has increased, both in the teacher’s and students’ observation results; 3) the learning outcomes using the Jigsaw Cooperative Learning Model have increased using the learning participation indicator; 4) Barriers and solutions in the Jigsaw Cooperative Learning Model were also revealed in this study.
