Abstract

Perairan laut sebagai internasional heritage dalam menjamin keberlanjutan kebutuhan pangan masyarakat dunia saat ini memiliki jumlah sampah yang terus meningkat setiap tahunnya, hal itu perlu mendapat perhatian khusus dan penanganan yang tepat. Implementasi nilai bela negara terutama dalam kesadaran tanggung jawab terhadap lingkungan perlu dilakukan terutama pada generasi milenial atau generation me atau echo boomers sebagai generasi pengguna teknologi yang cukup tinggi serta menyukai kegiatan dan pembelajaran yang menyenangkan, juga sebagai generasi yang memiliki pengaruh yang besar dalam pengimplementasian nilai-nilai bela negara. Peneliti melakukan fokus kajian pada kegiatan gerakan menghadap laut sebagai wahana maupun platform dalam pengimplementasian nilai-nilai bela negara terutama dalam hal lingkungan. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini dilaksanakan untuk mengetahui sikap generasi milenial, nilai-nilai bela negara yang terimplemetasi serta upaya dan hambatan dalam pelaksanaan gerakan menghadap laut. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan studi kasus pada komunitas Pandu Laut Nusantara dengan pendekatan kualitatif pada partisipan penelitian. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa implementasi nilai-nilai bela negara dalam kesadaran tanggung jawab generasi milenial terimplementasikan pada kegiatan gerakan menghadap laut dengan nilai-nilai bela negara yang ada diantaranya indikator cinta tanah air, kesadaran berbangsa dan bernegara, rela berkorban, indikator nilai bela negara pada kemampuan awal bela negara. Secara keseluruhan penelitian ini memberikan titik acuan pada upaya pengimplementasian nilai-nilai bela negara di luar pendidikan formal. Implementation of the values of defending the country, especially in the awareness of environmental responsibility, needs to be done for the most part the millennial generation or generation me or echo boomers as a generation of technology users who are quite high and like fun activities and learning, as well as a generation that has a great influence in implementing the values of defending the country. Researchers focused on the activity of facing the sea movement as a vehicle and platform in implementing the values of defending the country, especially in terms of the environment. Therefore, this research was conducted to determine the attitude of the millennial generation, the values of defending the country that were implemented as well as the efforts and obstacles in the implementation of the movement facing the sea. This research method uses a case study in the Pandu Laut Nusantara community with a qualitative approach to research participants. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the values of defending the country in the awareness of the responsibility of the millennial generation is implemented in the movement facing the sea with the values of defending the country which include indicators of love for the homeland, awareness of the nation and state, willing to sacrifice, indicators of the value of defending the country in early state defense capabilities. Overall, this research provides a reference point for efforts to implement the values of defending the country outside of formal education.
