    Abstract

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perilaku kecurangan akademik Mahasiswa Fakultas Pendidikan Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia melalui dimensi fraud pentagon yang meliputi tekanan, kesempatan, rasionalisasi, kompetensi, dan arogansi. Penelitian ini dirancang dengan menggunakan studi deskriptif melalui pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner yang disebarkan secara online melalui google form kepada Mahasiswa Fakultas Pendidikan Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia angkatan 2017, 2018, dan 2019 yang berjumlah 1.810 orang. Sampel sebanyak 328 orang diambil dengan menggunakan teknik proportional random sampling. Seluruh pengolahan data menggunakan software SPSS v. 25 for Windows dan Microsoft Excel 2010. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa perilaku kecurangan akademik Mahasiswa Fakultas Pendidikan Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia dilihat dari dimensi tekanan, kesempatan, rasionalisasi, dan kompetensi tergolong cukup tinggi. Namun jika dilihat dari dimensi arogansi, perilaku kecurangan akademik Mahasiswa Fakultas Pendidikan Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia tergolong rendah. Rasionalisasi merupakan faktor yang paling dominan dalam menentukan perilaku kecurangan akademik Mahasiswa FPEB UPI.

    This study aims to analyze the academic fraud behavior of students of the Faculty of Economics and Business Education, Indonesia University of Education through the dimensions of the fraud pentagon which includes pressure, opportunity, rationalization, competence, and arrogance. This research was designed using a descriptive study through a quantitative approach. Data collection techniques were carried out using questionnaires distributed online via google form to students of the Faculty of Economics and Business Education, Indonesia University of Education period 2017, 2018, and 2019 which amounted to 1.810 people. A sample of 328 people was taken using proportional random sampling technique. All data processing using software SPSS v. 25 for Windows and Microsoft Excel 2010. The results of this study indicate that the academic fraud behavior of students of the Faculty of Economics and Business Education, Indonesia University of Education viewed from the dimensions of pressure, opportunity, rationalization, and competence is quite high. However, when viewed from the dimension of arrogance, academic fraud behavior of students of the Faculty of Economics and Business Education, Indonesia University of Education is relatively low. Rationalization is the most dominant factor in determining academic fraud behavior of students of the Faculty of Economics and BusinessEducation, Indonesia University of Education.
