Abstract

ABSTRAK Fenomena pelecehan seksual terhadap trainee dalam industri perhotelan Kota Bandung menjadi perhatian peneliti dengan marakya kasus tersebut karena seharusnya pariwisata berperan dalam pemberdayaan perempuan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk memahami persepsi korban terhadap pelecehan, jenis pelecehan yang terjadi, aspek-aspek penyebabnya dilihat dari organizational climate model, respons dan dampaknya baik bagi korban dan hotel serta penyelesaiannya. Sampel yang digunakan adalah pekerja perempuan di hotel bintang empat dan lima Kota Bandung (upscale) yang mengalami minimal salah satu pelecehan dari lima jenis menurut Kode Praktik Pencegahan dan Pemberantasan Pelecehan Seksual yaitu; verbal, non-verbal, visual, fisik, dan psikologis. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik wawancara mendalam. Hasil penelitiannya menunjukkan para responden atau korban masih hanya sebatas cukup paham dalam mendefinisikan dan mengetahui jenis-jenisnya secara umum. dampak psikologis dan kinerja korban, respons melapor dan tidak melapor serta penyelesaian dari pihak hotel dijabarkan dalam hasil pembahasan. ABSTRACT The phenomenon of sexual harassment against female employees in the Bandung city hotel industry has attracted the attention of researcher with so many cases because tourism should play a role in empowering women instead. The purpose of the study is to understand the victim's perception of harassment, the type of harassment that occurs, the aspects of the cause seen from the organizational climate model, the response and its impact on both the victim and the hotel and its resolution. The samples used were female workers in four and five-star hotels in Bandung (upscale) who experienced at least one of five types of harassment according to the Code of Practice for the Prevention and Eradication of Sexual Harassment, namely; verbal, non-verbal, visual, physical, and psychological. The method used is descriptive qualitative with in-depth interview techniques. The results of the research show that the respondents or victims are still only enough to define and know the types in general, the psychological impact and performance of the victim in works, the response to reporting and not reporting as well as the settlement from the hotel are described in the results of the discussion.
