Abstract

ABSTRAK Pembelajaran online adalah proses pembelajaran dengan memanfaatkan alat elektronik dan jaringan internet. Penggunaan media yang tepat pada proses pembelajaran online tentu bisa mempermudah peserta didik dalam memahami materi pelajaran yang dijelaskan tenaga pendidik. Tapi faktanya tidak sedikit tenaga pendidik dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran daring hanya memberikan penugasan saja tanpa adanya penyampaian materi secara langsung kepada siswa dalam suatu forum, dikarenakan kurangnya pemahaman guru terhadap ilmu teknologi, selain itu tenaga pendidik dan peserta didik belum terbiasa melaksanakan pembelajaran daring. Maka pada penelitian ini peneliti akan menganalisis proses implementasi Google Meet dalam mendukung pembelajaran dalam jaringan di era pandemi covid-19. Peneliti memakai pendekatan kualitataif dan metode studi kasus. tempat penelitian di SD Muhammadiyah Kota Serang dengan subyek wali kelas 2A, wali kelas 5 serta siswa kelas 2A dan kelas 5 tahun ajaran 2020/2021. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa : (1) proses implementasi Google Meet dalam pembelajaran daring terdiri dari 3 proses yaitu pertama proses perencanaan (membuat RPP, menyiapkan media pembelajaran dan membuat link Google Meet), kedua proses pelaksanaan dan yang ketiga proses penilaian atau evaluasi, (2) faktor yang mendukung dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran daring yaitu tersedianya sarana prasarana (handphone, komputer atau laptop), kuota yang mencukupi, serta sinyal yang bagus, dan (3) faktor yang menghambat dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran daring menggunakan Google Meet yaitu tidak tersedianya handphone, komputer atau laptop, kuota tidak mencukupi, serta jaringan internet / sinyal yang tidak bagus yang menghambat proses pembelajaran daring. Berdasarkan penjelasan diatas oleh karena itu Google Meet sangat berpotensi dan mendukung untuk digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran dalam jaringan di masa pandemi covid-19. Kata kunci : implementasi google meet, pembelajaran daring, pandemi covid-19 ABSTRACT Online learning is a learning process by utilizing electronic devices and internet networks. The use of appropriate media in the online learning process can certainly make it easier for students to understand the subject matter explained by educators. But the fact is that not a few educators in the implementation of online learning only give assignments without the delivery of material directly to students in a forum, due to the teacher's lack of understanding of technology, besides that educators and students are not used to carrying out online learning. So in this study, researchers will analyze the process of implementing Google Meet in supporting online learning in the era of the covid-19 pandemic. The researcher used a qualitative approach and case study method. research place at SD Muhammadiyah Serang City with the subject of class 2A homeroom, 5th homeroom teacher and class 2A and class 5 students for the 2020/2021 academic year. The results of this study indicate that: (1) the process of implementing Google Meet in online learning consists of 3 processes, namely the first is the planning process (making lesson plans, preparing learning media and creating Google Meet links), the second is the implementation process and the third is the assessment or evaluation process, (2) the factors that support the implementation of online learning are the availability of infrastructure (mobile phones, computers or laptops), sufficient quota, as well as good signal, and (3) factors that hinder the implementation of online learning using Google Meet, namely the unavailability of mobile phones, computers or laptops, insufficient quota, and poor internet/signal networks that hinder the online learning process. Based on the explanation above, therefore Google Meet has the potential and support to be used as an online learning media during the covid-19 pandemic.
