Abstract

ABSTRAK Skripsi dengan judul “Pengaruh Kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah terhadap Kinerja Guru di Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri Se-Kabupaten Majalengka”. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kepala sekolah yang memiliki tugas dan tanggung jawab untuk meningkatkan kinerja guru dalam kondisi apapun untuk mencapai tujuan sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif, selain itu tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh kepemimpinan kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru. Instrumen yang digunakan terdiri dari kuesioner yang tersebar di Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri yang berada dalam wilayah Kabupaten Majalengka. Dalam pengukuran kuesioner ini memiliki bobot nilai yakni 1-5 yang memiliki penjelasan disetiap masing-masing nilainya. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa kecendrungan kinerja guru di Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri Se-Kabupaten Majalengka memiliki hasil nilai rata-rata sebesar 4,00 kemudian skor tersebut menunjukan kategori baik, skor tersebut dikonsultasikan dengan tabel hasil perhitungan Weight Means Score. Selain itu pada hasil perhitungan tersebut dapat diketahui bahwa kolerasi pada variabel kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan variabel kinerja guru tergolong sangat kuat. Kesimpulan menunjukan bahwa terdapat pengaruh kepemimpinan kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru di Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri Se-Kabupaten Majalengka sebesar 75,6%. ABSTRACT This research with the title "The Effect of Principal Leadership on Teacher Performance in State Senior High Schools in Majalengka District". This research is motivated by the principal who has the duty and responsibility to improve teacher performance under any conditions to achieve school goals. This study uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive method, besides the purpose of this study is to find out how much influence the principal's leadership has on teacher performance. The instrument used consisted of questionnaires distributed in State Senior High Schools in the Majalengka Regency area. In measuring this questionnaire, it has a weighted value of 1-5 which has an explanation for each value. The results of this study indicate that the trend of teacher performance in State Senior High Schools throughout Majalengka Regency has an average score of 4.00 then the score shows a good category, the score is consulted with the table of the results of the calculation of the Weight Means Score. In addition, the results of these calculations can be seen that the correlation between the principal's leadership variable and the teacher's performance variable is very strong. The conclusion shows that there is an influence of principal's leadership on teacher performance in State Senior High Schools in Majalengka Regency by 75.6%.
