Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh munculnya video tutorial virtual photoshoot di platform youtube masih banyak yang kurang sesuai dengan kaidah-kaidah dalam pembuatan media video pembelajaran. Video tutorial yang tersaji di platform youtube akan dianalisis kesesuaiannya dengan kaidah-kaidah video pembelajaran dan juga melalui teori-teori dalam menganalisis video. Salah satu penyebabnya adalah fenomena munculnya tren baru virtual photoshoot yang viral di masa pandemi ini. situasi dan kondisi tersebut mengharuskan penggiat fotografi untuk tidak melakukan sesi foto dengan modelnya secara langsung atau tatap muka membuat mereka kehilangan sarana untuk berkreasi membuat karya foto model. Oleh karena itu, penggiat fotografi memerlukan referensi untuk melakukan virtual photoshoot salah satunya melalui video tutorial yang berkualitas khususnya pada platform youtube. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis tipe materi, efektivitas waktu, format sajian video, ketentuan teknis video, penggunaan musik dan sound effect video tutorial virtual photoshoot pada platform youtube. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif analitis dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dari penelitian ini melalui observasi, dokumentasi dan studi literatur. Tahapan analisis video meliputi pemilihan video, analisis melalui format observasi kriteria video yang mengacu pada landasan teori dan aturan kompetensi bidang fotografi hingga penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan data hasil analisis penelitian menghasilkan referensi video tutorial virtual photoshoot pada platform youtube yang memiliki kualitas baik. This study is motivated by the emergence of the virtual photoshoot tutorial videos on YouTube platform that are still not according to the principles of creating media for the learning videos. Tutorial videos presented on YouTube platform will be analyzed with the compliance of the learning video principles and the theory in analyzing the videos. One of the causes is the emergence of a new trend phenomenon of the virtual photoshoot that is currently going viral during this pandemic. The situation and condition force the photography enthusiast not to take a photo session with the model directly or face to face that is capable to remove their creative means in creating a photo model. Therefore, the photography enthusiast needs references to carry out the virtual photoshoot, one of them is the tutorial video which has a quality, especially on YouTube platform. This study aimed to analyze the material type, time effectively, video presentation format, video technical terms, the use of music, and sound effect of the virtual photoshoot tutorial videos on YouTube platform. The used method was descriptive analytics by using the qualitative approach. The data collection techniques of this study were observation, documentation, and a literature study. Video analysis stages consisted of the video selection, the analysis through the video criteria observation format that referred to the theoretical basis and rules of competence in the photography field until it took the conclusion. Based on the results of data analysis in research, it resulted in the references of the virtual photoshoot tutorial video on YouTube platform that had a good quality.
