Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perbedaan dampak dari keberadaan Sari Ater Resort terhadap ekonomi dan sosial masyarakat Desa Palasari antara sebelum dan sesudah Sari Ater Resort berkembang (2008). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif dan dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah masyarakat Desa Palasari yang tinggal di sekitar objek wisata Sari Ater Resort dengan sampel penelitian berjumlah 100 responden. Indikator untuk mengukur dampak pada penelitian ini adalah pendapatan masyarakat, mata pencaharian, kepemilikan dan kontrol, populasi, transformasi nilai, fasilitas publik, dan kehidupan sehari-hari. Data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif setiap indikator agar diketahui perbedaan dampak sebelum dan sesudah pariwisata berkembang. Setelah di analisis secara deskriptif, dilakukan uji beda (paired sample t test) untuk memvalidasi hasil temuan deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat perbedaan mengenai kondisi sosial ekonomi masyarakat Desa Palasari antara sebelum dan sesudah pariwisata di Sari Ater Resort berkembang, perbedaan tersebut meliputi pendapatan masyarakat, mata pencaharian, populasi, transformasi nilai, fasilitas publik, dan kehidupan seharihari, namun tidak ada perbedaan terkait kepemilikan dan kontrol (harga tanah dan bangunan). Hasil dari penelitian ini merekomendasikan peneliti selanjutnya agar menambah lebih banyak lagi indikator untuk mengukur dampak agar didapat hasil yang lebih maksimal. Kata kunci: Dampak Ekonomi, Dampak Sosial This study aims to analyze the differences in the impact of tourism activities at Sari Ater Resort on the economy and social community of Palasari Village between before and after the development of Sari Ater Resort (2008). This research uses descriptive analysis method and quantitative approach. The population in this study is the Palasari Village community who live around the Sari Ater Resort tourist attraction with a research sample of 100 respondents. Indicators to measure impact in this research are community income, livelihood, ownership and control, population, value transformation, public facilities, and daily life. The data obtained were then analyzed descriptively for each indicator in order to know the difference in the impact before and after tourism developed. After being analyzed descriptively, a paired sample t test was conducted to validate the descriptive findings. The results showed that there were differences regarding the socio-economic conditions of the Palasari Village community between before and after tourism at the Sari Ater Resort developed, these differences included community income, livelihoods, population, value transformation, public facilities, and daily life, but there were no differences related to ownership and control (price of land and buildings). The results of this study recommend that future researchers add more indicators to measure the impact in order to obtain maximum results. Keywords: Economic Impact, Social Impact
