Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul “Reward and Punishment Terhadap Kinerja Pegawai Di Dinas Pendidikan Provinsi Jawa Barat” . Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif pendekatan kuantitatif ditunjang dengan studi kepustakaan. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan angket/kousioner adapun jumlah populasi penelitian ini berjumlah 220 orang, dan jumlah sampel berjumlah 69 orang. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data yang dihitung dengan menggunakan teknik Weight Means Scores (WMS) menunjukkan bahwa kecenderungan umum untuk variabel X (Reward and Punishment) diperoleh sebesar 3,19 dan berada dalam kategori sangat baik. Sedangkan untuk ratarata kecenderungan umum untuk variabel Y (Kinerja Pegawai) diperoleh sebesar 3,24 berada dalam ketegori sangat baik. Hasil perhitungan uji normalitas terhadap distribusi đata bahwa variabel X dan variabel sangat Y berdistribusi normal. Dilihat dari perhitungan koefisien korelasi (Thitung) dengan menggunakan rumus Pearson Product Moment diperoleh nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar 0.787. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang cukup kuat antara variabel Y. Adapun hasil uji signifikan dengan uji-t diperoleh thitung adalah 10,451 dan diketahui ttabel 1.667 jika dibandingkan, maka thitung > ttabel. Untuk menentukan besarnya pengaruh variabel X dan variabel Y ditunjukkan dari hasil perhitungan analisis koefisien determinasi (KD) sebesar 62%. Berdasarkan hasilpenelitian diatas dapat disimpulkan bahwa hipotesis penelitiannya yaitu terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara Pengaruh Reward and punishment Terhadap Kinerja Pegawai Dinas Pendidikan Provinsi Jawa Barat. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan suatu manfaat baik untuk lembaga, pegawai maupun untuk peneliti selanjutnya yang akan meneliti masalah Reward and punishment terhadap kinerja pegawai. This research uses descriptive quantitative approach supported by literature study. The data collection technique used aquestionnaire/questionnaire while the population of this study amounted to 220 people, and the number of samples amounted to 69 people using simple random sampling. (Reward and Punishment) is obtained at 3.19 and is in the very good category. Meanwhile, the general trend average for the Y variable (Employee Performance) is 3.24, which is in the very good category. The results of the calculation of the normality test on the data distribution show that the X and Y variables are normally distributed. Judging from the calculation of the correlation coefficient (Tcount) using the Person Product Moment formula, the correlation coefficient value is 0.787. This shows that there is a fairly strong relationship between the Y variable. The results of the significant test with the ttest obtained tcount is 10,451 and it is known that ttable is 1,667 when compared, then tcount > ttable. To determine the magnitude of the influence of variable X and variable Y, it is shown from the results of the calculation of the coefficient of determination analysis (KD) of 62%. Based on the results of the research above, it can be concluded that the research hypothesis is that there is a positive and significant influence between the Effect of Reward and punishment on the Performance of the Education Office of West Java Province. The results of this study are expected to provide a benefit both for institutions, employees and for further researchers who will examine the issue of Reward and punishment on employee performance.
