Abstract

ABSTRAK Salah satu ciri khas yang menonjol pada setiap orang hebat yaitu mempunyai kreativitas yang tinggi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis peserta didik dalam menyelesaikan soal matematika pada materi bangun ruang kelas V sekolah dasar. Tujuan lainnya yaitu mengetahui faktor yang mempengaruhi, serta upaya yang harus dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis peserta didik. Untuk mendukung penelitian, digunakan metode jenis penelitian kualitatif desain studi kasus pada 6 orang peserta didik salah satu sekolah dasar di Kabupaten Purwakarta. Hasilnya terdapat dua faktor utama yang mempengaruhi, yaitu faktor keluarga, dan faktor diri peserta didik. Faktor dalam diri peserta didik terbagi dalam dua jenis, yaitu motivasi belajar dan resiliensi matematis. Dari hasil tersebut, diketahui bahwa 3 orang peserta didik memiliki kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis yang sangat tinggi. Hal ini disebabkan ketiganya mendapat perhatian, arahan serta bimbingan yang baik dari orangtua, dan juga memiliki motivasi belajar yang tinggi, serta rasa percaya diri dan rasa ingin tahu yang besar. Tentu saja lingkungan terdekat peserta didik akan sangat mempengaruhi hasil belajar peserta didik. ----- ABSTRACT One of the characteristics that stand out in a great person is having high creativity. The purpose of this study is to describe the students' mathematical creative thinking ability in solving Mathematics problem, especially on the questions regarding solid shapes of a fifth grade elementary school. In addition, this study also seeks to know the factors that affect the mathematical creative thinking skills, as well as the efforts that must be made to improve students' mathematical creative thinking ability. To support this study, a qualitative research design was used as a method to analyze 6 (six) students from an elementary school in Purwakarta. The results showed that there were two main factors that affected students' mathematical creative thinking skills, namely family factors and students' own factors. Factors that were owned by the students themselves were also divided into two types, namely learning motivation and students' mathematical resilience. From these results, it is found that 3 (three) students have very high mathematical creative thinking abilities. It is because those students received good attention, direction and guidance from their parents, and they also have high learning motivation, followed by self-confidence and great curiosity. Furthermore, the living environment of the students will greatly affect their learning outcomes.
