Abstract
Penelitian ini membahas tentang pengembangan konten media podcast for learning format feature dalam upaya mengembangkan daya imajinasi siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA di SMP. Tujuannya adalah untuk mendeskripsikan proses analisis kebutuhan, proses desain dan pengembangan, serta proses penilaian yang dilakukan hingga produk yang dihasilkan dapat dinyatakan layak untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian ini didasari oleh temuan terkait perkembangan media podcast yang saat ini sedang populer di Indonesia serta temuan terkait kurangnya variasi penggunaan media pembelajaran di sekolah selama pelaksanaan pembelajaran daring. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian Design and Development dengan model pengembangan ASSURE. Tempat penelitian ini dilakukan adalah SMPN 25 Bandung. Melalui serangkaian prosedur penelitian yang dilakukan, dihasilkan dua buah konten media podcast for learning dengan format feature untuk mata pelajaran IPA di SMP yang dikembangkan berdasarkan penilaian dan masukan dari para ahli dan para pengguna. Berdasarkan hasil penilaian yang dilakukan oleh para ahli (ahli materi dan ahli media) dan para pengguna (guru dan siswa) terhadap beberapa aspek (materi, bahasa, penyajian media, teknis media, pengaruh media), kedua konten media podcast for learning yang dikembangkan termasuk ke dalam kriteria “Sangat Layak” dan memiliki potensi untuk dapat mengembangkan daya imajinasi siswa. This research discusses about the development of Podcast for Learning’ media content with feature format to develop students’ imaginative skill in science subject at Junior High School. The purpose is to describe the needs analysis process, the design and development process, as well as the assessment process that carried out until the resulting product can be declared suitable for use in learning. This research is based on the findings related to the podcast media which is currently popular in Indonesia as well as the findings related to the lack of variation in the use of learning media during the online learning’ implementation. This research used Design and Development research method and ASSURE development model. The place where this research was conducted is SMPN 25 Bandung. Through a series of research procedure, two podcasts for learning media contents with feature format in science subject were made based on the reviews and the inputs from the experts and the users. Based on the reviews conducted by the experts (material and media experts) and the users (teachers and students) on several aspects (material, language, media presentation, media technical, and media effect), both of those podcasts for learning’ media contents are included in “Sangat Layak” criteria and have the potential to be able to develop students’ imaginative skill.
