Abstract
Siswa yang memiliki keterampilan berpikir kreatif rendah cenderung untuk apatis, selalu takut salah, dan sangat bergantung pada orang lain. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi efikasi lifeskills counselling melalui konseling kelompok dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kreatif siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen kuasi dengan nonequivalent pretest-posttest control group design. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 12 siswa (6 siswa kelompok eksperimen dan 6 siswa kelompok kontrol) yang dipilih secara convenience pada siswa yang memiliki keterampilan berpikir kreatif yang rendah. Instrument penelitian yang digunakan berupa angket keterampilan berpikir kreatif berdasarkan karakteristik kepribadian kreatif dalam cara berpikir maupun bertindak kreatif. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji perbedaan Mann Withney-U dengan membandingkan skor rerata pada kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan efikasi lifeskills counselling berdasarkan N Gain berada pada kategori sedang, artinya pendekatan lifeskills counselling cukup feasibel dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kreatif siswa. Students who have low creative thinking skills tend to be apathetic, are afraid of being wrong, and are dependent on others. This research aimed to evaluate the efficacy of lifeskills counseling through group counseling in improving students creative thinking skills. The method used was the quasi-experimental method with non-equivalent pre-test-post-test control group design. The sampling technique were 12 students (6 students in the experimental group and 6 students in the control group) which were selected from those who have low creative thinking skills through convenient sampling method. The data were collected through creative thinking skills questionnsire based on creative personality characteristics in creative ways of thinking and acting. The data were analyzed using the Mann Withney-U difference test by comparing the mean scores in the experimental group and the control group. The result showed that the efficacy of lifeskills counseling based on N Gain was in the moderate category; meaning that the lifeskills counseling approach was sufficient feasible in improving students creative thinking skills.
