Abstract
Penerapan pendidikan karakter pada masa pandemi covid-19 merupakan tantangan bagi guru dan juga kepala sekolah. Penerapan pendidikan karakter yang biasanya dilakukan secara tatap muka di sekolah, berubah menjadi pembelajaran jarak jauh atau pembelajaran dalam jaringan (daring). Tujuan Penelitian ini menganalisis KKPA (kelebihan, kekurangan, peluang dan ancaman) dari penerapan pendidikan karakter, serta perumusan perencanaan, implementasi pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi penerapan pendidikan karakter di masa pandemi covid-19. Metode yang digunakan yaitu pendekatan kualitatif dengan studi kasus pada SDIT At-Taufiq Al-Islamy Tasikmalaya. Data diperoleh dengan melakukan observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumentasi terhadap kepala sekolah, guru dan juga orang tua siswa. Berdasarkan analisis KKPA, penerapan pendidikan karakter menunjukan bahwa adanya kesulitan dalam kerjasama antar sekolah dengan orang tua peserta didik, selain itu dikarenakan proses belajar selalu menggunakan internet maka terjadinya pengaruh buruk penggunaan gadget pada peserta didik. Perencanaan pendidikan karakter mengacu pada target dan tujuan sekolah dan diadakan sosialisasi kepada orang tua peserta didik untuk melaksanakan pembelajaran daring. Adapun pelaksanaan penerapan pendidikan karakter tetap dilakukan baik itu pembelajaran secara luring dan daring menggunakan google meet/zoom meeting, whatsapp grup dan video call, google form dan video pembelajaran dalam kegiatan pembelajaran, ekstrakurikuler dan dalam kegiatan pembiasaan dan pembudayaan. Untuk tahap evaluasi, dilaksanakan oleh pihak sekolah melalui pemantauan nilai-nilai religius peserta didik yang melibatkan orang tua dalam pemantauan penerapan pendidikan karakter. This situation is a challenge for teachers and also principals because character education is usually implemented in school immediately became home online learning system. This research aims to analyze strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT) of character education and to find out how was the planning, implementing, and evaluating character education during pandemic covid-19. This study used a qualitative approach with case studies on SDIT At-Taufiq Al-Islamy in Tasikmalaya. data were collected through in depth interviews with the principal, teachers, and also students’ parents. The result showed that the implementation of character education management in the pandemic era was having difficulties to cooperate between teachers and students’ parents as well as home online learning system gave a bad impact on the use of gadgets on students. Moreover, character education planning refers to the school’s goals and socialization was held to students’ parents to carry out online learning. The implementation of character education is still being carried out both offline and online learning using zoom meeting, Google classroom, Whatsapp group and video calls, Google forms, and video education. To evaluating character education, it is carried out by the school through monitoring the religious values of students who involve students’ parents in monitoring students.
