Abstract
Masyarakat masih beranggapan bahwa pendidikan dan program keahlian pendidikan untuk laki-laki dan perempuan dibedakan. Oleh karena itu dalam penelitian ini akan diteliti lebih lanjut mengenai perbandingan hubungan antara program keahlian dengan cita-cita karir antara siswa dan siswi di Jawa Barat dengan program keahlian yang akan diteliti adalah Teknik Elektronika Industri, Teknik Instalasi Tenaga Listrik, Teknik Jaringan Akses, dan Teknik Komputer Jaringan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui cita-cita karir masa depan, hubungan antara program keahlian dengan cita-cita karir masa depan baik siswa ataupun siswi, serta mengetahui perbandingan hubungan antara program keahlian dengan cita-cita karir masa depan antara siswa dan siswi SMK di Jawa Barat. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif regresi linear sederhana dan regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa siswa dan siswi mendominasi pada cita-cita karir masa depan dengan berpenghasilan besar pada TEI, TITL, TKJ. Adapun menjadi pribadi yang mampu mendesain/menemukan hal baru pada program keahlian TEI, melanjutkan studi ke perguruan tinggi pada program keahlian TITL, menjadi supervisor/manajer di perusahaan/industri pada program keahlian TJA, menjadi seorang programmer atau teknisi komputer pada program keahlian TKJ dan TJA. Hubungan antara minat terhadap program keahlian dengan cita-cita karir masa depan baik pada siswa ataupun siswi memiliki hubungan yang kuat atau memiliki signifikansi yang tinggi (p < 0,05). Perbandingan hubungan antara program keahlian dengan cita-cita karir pada jurusan TEI dan TJA siswa mendominasi ketertarikan pada cita-cita karir masa depan yang sesuai dengan program keahlian dibandingkan siswi. Sedangkan pada TITL dan TJA siswi yang menunjukan minat lebih besar pada cita-cita karir masa depan yang sesuai dengan program keahliannya. Baik siswa maupun siswi sudah memiliki minat terhadap program keahlian dan minat kerja yang lumayan tinggi pada program keahlian Teknik Elektronika Industri, Teknik Instalasi Tenaga Listrik, Teknik Jaringan Akses, dan Teknik Komputer Jaringan serta tidak terjadi kejomplangan hasil apabila dibandingkan sesuai gender (gender stereotip tidak berpengaruh). People still think that education and educational skills programs for men and women are different. Therefore, in this study, further research will be conducted regarding the comparison of the relationship between skill programs and career aspirations between male and female students in West Java with the expertise programs to be studied are Industrial Electronics Engineering, Electrical Power Installation Engineering, Network Engineering Access, and Computer Network Engineering. The purpose of this study was to determine future career aspirations, the relationship between skill programs and future career aspirations for both male and female students, and to compare the relationship between skills programs and future career aspirations among male students and female vocational high school students in West Java. The analytical method used is a quantitative approach to simple linear regression and multiple linear regression. The results showed that male and female students dominate in future career aspirations with high incomes TEI, TITL, TKJ. As for being a person who is able to design/find new things in the TEI expertise program, continue studies at university in the TITL expertise program, become a supervisor/manager in a company/industry in the TJA expertise program, become a programmer or computer technician in the TKJ and TJA expertise program. The relationship between interest in skill programs and future career aspirations for both male and female students has a strong relationship or has a high significance (p < 0.05). Comparison of the relationship between skill programs and career aspirations in the TEI and TJA majors, male students dominate the interest in future career aspirations that are in accordance with the skills program compared to female students. While at TITL and TJA female students who show greater interest in future career aspirations that are in accordance with their expertise program. Both male and female students already have an interest in skill programs and a fairly high work interest in the Industrial Electronics Engineering expertise program, Electrical Power Installation Engineering, Access Network Engineering, and Computer Network Engineering and there is no ambiguity in the results when compared according to gender (gender stereotypes have no effect).
