    Abstract

    ABSTRAK
    Siswa tunarungu cenderung mendapatkan prestasi matematika yang lebih rendah
    dibandingkan siswa normal pada kelas atau usia yang sama. Salah satu faktor
    penyebabnya yaitu kurangnya pemahaman terhadap konsep dasar matematika yaitu
    aritmetika dasar dikarenakan kesulitan memaknai bahasa dan sifat matematika yang
    abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan tes diagnostik yang
    memenuhi kriteria validitas dan reliabilitas guna mengidentifikasi kesulitan siswa
    tunarungu dalam mempelajari aritmetika dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode
    Research and Development (R&D) yang terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, tahap
    pengembangan, dan tahap aplikasi tes. Berdasarkan uji validitas isi diperoleh 30
    butir soal dinyatakan valid dengan nilai CVR (Content Validity Ratio) untuk
    masing-masing butir soal sebesar 1. Adapun berdasarkan uji reliabilitas, diperoleh
    30 butir soal yang secara keseluruhan memiliki nilai Alpha Cronbach sebesar 0,773
    yang artinya tes yang dikembangkan termasuk kategori dapat diterima.

    ABSTRACT
    Deaf students tended to get lower mathematics achievement than normal students
    at the same class or age. One of the contributing factors was the lack of
    understanding of mathematics basic concepts, namely basic arithmetic because deaf
    students have difficulty to grasp the meaning of language in mathematics which has
    an abstract nature. This study aimed to develop a diagnostic test which met criteria
    of validity and reliability in identifying difficulties of basic arithmetic for deaf
    students. This study uses research and development methods consisting of planning
    stage, development stage, and test application stage. Based on the test of content
    validity, was obtained 30 items declared valid with a CVR (Content Validity Ratio)
    value for each item of 1. Meanwhile, based on the test of reliability, showed 30
    items had a value Cronbach Alpha of 0.773 which meant the developed test in the
    acceptable category.
