Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui penerapan model pembelajaran Community of Inquiry (CoI) terhadap kemampuan integrasi pengetahuan siswa pada materi pencemaran lingkungan dengan praktikum adsorben limbah biomassa pada jenjang SMA. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMA Negeri 10 Bandung dengan partisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X. Penentuan sampel dilakukan secara purposive sampling. Metode pada penelitian ini adalah quasi-experimental dengan desain penelitian non-equivalent control group design. Pada kelas eksperimen, pembelajaran dilaksanakan dengan penerapan model CoI sedangkan kelompok kontrol dengan menggunakan model Inquiry terbimbing. Proses pembelajaran dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran online synchronous menggunakan zoom meeting dan asynchronous menggunakan whatsapp group dan google classroom. Nilai atau skor kemampuan integrasi pengetahuan siswa sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan diukur menggunakan rubric Knowledge Integration (KI) scoring. Hasilnya didapatkan nilai rata-rata post-test kelas eksperimen lebih unggul (68,47) dibandingkan kelas kontrol (56,80). Hasil ini sejalan dengan peningkatan kemampuan integrasi pengetahuan siswa pada kelas eksperimen yang juga lebih unggul dengan nilai n-gain (0,45) pada kategori sedang dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol (0,24) yang berada pada kategori rendah. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat dibuat kesimpulan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan pada kemampuan integrasi pengetahuan siswa antara kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen setelah dilakukan pembelajaran dengan penerapan model pembelajaran Community of Inquiry (CoI). Kata kunci : Community of Inquiry (CoI), Kemampuan Integrasi Pengetahuan, Model Pembelajaran, Pencemaran Lingkungan, Adsorben Limbah Biomassa ABSTRACT The Effect Of Application Of Community of Inquiry (CoI)) Model on Students' Knowledge Integration Ability on Environmental Pollution Materials This study aims to determine the application of the Community of Inquiry (CoI) learning model to student's knowledge integration ability on environmental pollution material with biomass waste adsorbent practicum at the high school level. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 10 Bandung with the participants in this study were students of class X. Determination of the sample was done by purposive sampling. The method in this study is a quasi-experimental research design with non-equivalent control group design. In the experimental class, learning is carried out by applying the CoI model, while the kontrol group uses the guided inquiry model. The learning process is carried out using synchronous online learning media using zoom meetings and asynchronously using whatsapp groups and google classroom. The value or score of students' knowledge integration abilities before and after treatment was measured using the Knowledge Integration (KI) scoring rubric. The result showed that the post-test average value of the experimental class was superior (68,47) than the kontrol class (56,80). These results are in line with the increase of student's knowledge integration ability in the experimental class which is also superior with an n-gain value of (0,45) in the medium category compared to the kontrol class (0,24) which is in the low category. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that there is a significant difference in the ability to integrate student's knowledge between the kontrol class and the experimental class after learning with the application of the Community of Inquiry (CoI) learning model.
