Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifitasan penggunaan metode Struktur Analisis Sintetik (SAS) terhadap kemampuan membaca permulaan pada siswa berkesulitan belajar membaca kelas IV SDN Cintalaksana I. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan Singgle Subject Research (SSR) atau penelitian dengan subjek tunggal. Desain yang digunakan adalah A-B-A’ yaitu baseline 1, intervensi dan baseline 2. Analisis data menggunakan analisis dalam kondisi dan antar kondisi. Penyajian hasil penelitian disajikan dalam grafik dan tabel. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian terhadap kemampuan membaca permulaan selama diadakan 11 sesi, menunjukan adanya peningkatan kemampuan yang di buktikan melalui peningkatan perolehan skor mean level membaca permulaan subjek pada fase intervensi. Subjek mendapatkan mean level meningkat dari 43,8 pada saat baseline 1 (A) menjadi 76,3 pada saat intervensi (B) dan 84,4 pada saat baseline 2 (A’). data hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan metode Struktur Analisis Sintetik (SAS) memberikan pengaruh dan dapat digunakan dalam meningkatkan kemampuan membaca permulaan siswa berkesulitan belajar, karena dilihat dari hasil presentasi overlap yang rendah pada fase intervensi dan fase baseline2. Persentase overlap antar kondisi baseline 1 dengan fase intervensi yaitu 0% dan fase intervensi dengan baseline 2 juga sebanyak 0%. Secara hasil keseluruhan, penggunaan metode Struktur Analisis Sinetetik (SAS) memberikan pengaruh dan efektif terhadap kemampuan membaca permulaan pada siswa berkesuliatan belajar membaca permulaan kelas IV SDN Cintalaksana I Kecamatan Tegalwaru ----- This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the use of the Synthetic Analysis Structure (SAS) method on the initial reading ability of students with learning difficulties in reading class IV at Cintalaksana I Elementary School. This type of research uses Single Subject Research (SSR) or research with a single subject. The design used is A-B-A', namely baseline 1, intervention and baseline 2. Data analysis uses analysis within and between conditions. The presentation of research results is presented in graphs and tables. Based on the results of the study on the initial reading ability during 11 sessions, it showed an increase in ability which was proven by increasing the mean level score of the subject's initial reading in the intervention phase. Subjects got the mean level increased from 43.8 at baseline 1 (A) to 76.3 at the time of intervention (B) and 84.4 at baseline 2 (A'). The data from this study indicate that the use of the Synthetic Analysis Structure (SAS) method has an effect and can be used in improving the initial reading ability of student with learning difficulties, because it is seen from the results of the low overlap presentation in the intervention phase and the baseline phase2. The percentage of overlap between baseline 1 conditions and the intervention phase is 0% and the intervention phase with baseline 2 is also 0%. Overall, the use of the Synetic Structure Analysis (SAS) method has an effect and is effective on the early reading ability of student who have difficulty learning to read of class IV at SDN Cintalaksana I, Tegalwaru District.
