Abstract

ABSTRAK Situ Bagendit adalah danau yang dijadikan sebagai objek wisata alam. Penetapan kawasan situ sebagai kawasan wisata sekaligus kawasan lindung memberikan dampak secara langsung ataupun tidak langsung kepada komunitas hewan, tumbuhan dan kualitas air danau. Penelitian mengenai tumbuhan air memiliki peranan penting bagi lingkungan perairan dalam menjaga kestabilan ekosistem dan kaitannya sebagai bioindikator kualitas air. Metode pengambilan data purposive sampling dengan menentukan 5 stasiun pengambilan data berdasarkan aktivitas masyarakat. Data yang diambil berupa data biologi, fisika dan kimia air. Data biologi tumbuhan dihitung menggunakan Indeks Nilai Penting, Indeks Keanekaragaman, dan Indeks Similaritas. Perairan Situ Bagendit telah mengalami eutrofikasi hingga hipereutrofikasi berdasarkan parameter kecerahan, kedalaman, kekeruhan, klorofil-a, total N dan total P. Tumbuhan air yang didapatkan dari kelima stasiun berjumlah 13 jenis. Terdapat 3 jenis tumbuhan air dominan yaitu: Eceng gondok (Eicchornia crassipes), Kangkung (Ipomoea aquatica), dan Kiambang (Salvinia natans). Keberadaan tiga jenis tumbuhan dominan di Situ Bagendit dapat dijadikan sebagai bioindikator kualitas air. Rata-rata nilai keanekaragaman tumbuhan air sebesar 1.71 dan termasuk kategori sedang. Kesamaan komunitas pada semua stasiun >50%, dengan kemiripan vegetasi tertinggi pada stasiun I dan II (93.33%). Faktor yang cenderung mempengaruhi keberadaan tumbuhan air adalah unsur hara (nitrogen dan fosfor). The excistence of it has a direct and indirect impact on animal, plant and water quality. Legally, Situ Bagendit has become as a natural tourism and protected area. Aquatic plants research has an important role for the aquatic environment in maintaining the stability of the ecosystem and its relation as a bioindicator of water quality. Purposive sampling ia a methode for collecting sample, 5 stations has determained based on anthropogenic activities. Biological, physical and chemical data was taken from water. Plants as a biological data were calculated using Indeks Nilai Penting (INP), Diversity Index (H’), and Similarity Index (IS). The waters of Situ Bagendit have undergone eutrophication to hypereutrophication based on parameters of brightness, depth, turbidity, chlorophyll-a, N total and P total. Aquatic plants obtained from the five stations amounted to 13 species. There are 3 dominant types of aquatic plants: water hyacinth (Eicchornia crassipes), water spinach (Ipomoea aquatica), and watermoss (Salvinia natans). Presence of three dominant plant species, can be used as a bioindicator of water quality. The average of diversity index (H’) is 1.71 (medium category). Aquatic plants community in all stations is relative similar, more than 50%. Stations I and II is highest than others in similarity index (93.3%). Nutriens (Nitrogen and Phosphorus) have a tight effect for the existence of aquatic plants. Keywords: Aquatic plants, Bioindicators, Situ Bagendit, Hypereutrophic, Diversity.
