Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran dari pemberian feedback sebagai upaya untuk meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains siswa pada praktikum sistem indra. Digunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif menggunakan subjek penelitian yang berjumlah 36 siswa SMA kelas XI MIPA. Setiap siswa dianalisis peningkatan keterampilan proses sainsnya melalui penilaian jurnal pra praktikum pada penugasan pertama sebelum diberikan feedback dan penugasan kedua setelah diberikan feedback. Feedback yang diberikan dalam bentuk lisan maupun tertulis setelah dilakukannya penilaian pada penugasan pertama. Selain itu, keterampilan proses sains juga dinilai melalui penugasan video praktikum yang dibuat oleh setiap kelompok dengan tujuan untuk menganalisis kemunculan keterampilan proses sains pada proses praktikum dan penugasan laporan praktikum. Secara keseluruhan rata-rata nilai keterampilan proses sains mengalami peningkatan. Pada penugasan jurnal pra praktikum hasil capaian keterampilan proses sains siswa pada penugasan pertama termasuk ke dalam kategori cukup baik (69,44%) sedangkan pada hasil pada penugasan kedua termasuk ke dalam kategori baik (81,36%). Pada video praktikum hasil capaian keterampilan proses sains siswa mencapai 86,67% dan laporan praktikum 90,84%, sehingga dari kedua penugasan tersebut termasuk ke dalam kategori sangat baik. Kata kunci: feedback, jurnal pra praktikum, keterampilan proses sains ABSTRACT THE ROLE OF FEEDBACK IN PRE PRACTICAL JOURNAL AND THE ACHIEVEMENT OF STUDENTS’ SCIENCE PROCESS SKILLS IN SENSORY SYSTEM PRACTICUM This study aimed to analyze the role of feedback to improve students’ science process skills in the sensory system practicum. This study uses a descriptive method is used with a quantitative approach using research subjects totaling 36 high school students from the XI MIPA class. Each student has analyzed to improve their science process skills through a pre-practical journal assessment in the first assignment before being given feedback and the second assignment after being given feedback. Feedback is given in oral or written form after the assessment on the first assignment. In addition, science process skills are also assessed by assigning practicum video made by each group with the aim of analyzing the emergence of science process skills in the practicum process and assignment of practicum reports. Overall the average value of science process skills has increased. In the assignment of pre-practical journals, the results of students’ science process skills in the first assignment were included in the reasonably good category (69.44%), while the second assignment were in a suitable variety (81.36%). In the practicum video students’ science process skills reached 86.67% and the practicum report 90.84%, so that the assignments were included in the outstanding category.
