Abstract

Kesulitan belajar matematika (dyscalculia) merupakan kesulitan belajar yang menggunakan aspek yang paling dasar dari keterampilan aritmatika. Pembagian merupakan keterampilan yang dipandang paling sulit dipelajari dan diajarkan. Kesulitan ini harus segera diatasi agar tidak menghambat siswa pada materi berikutnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk, (1) mengetahui kesulitan yang dialami oleh siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal operasi hitung pembagian, (2) mengetahui faktor penyebab kesulitan belajar siswa, dan (3) memberikan solusi untuk mengatasi kesulitan belajar siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal operasi hitung pembagian. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan model studi kasus. Subjek penelitian ini adah 6 orang siswa kelas III di salah satu SD di Kecamatan Purwakarta, dengan kategori pengelompokkan yang berbeda-beda yang ditinjau dari kemampuan awal matematis yang dimiliki siswa. 2 orang berkemampuan Tinggi, 2 orang berkemampuan Sedang, dan 2 orang berkemampuan Rendah. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes dan wawancara. Data yang sudah terkumpul dianalisis menggunakan analisis data model Miles and Huberman yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (a) kesulitan belajar matematika operasi hitung pembagian meliputi kesulitan menggunakan konsep, kesulitan menggunakan prinsip, dan kesulitan menyelesaikan masalah-masalah verbal; (b) faktor yang mempengaruhi kesulitan belajar matematika operasi hitung pembagian antara lain faktor kognitif, faktor sekolah (kelas), faktor guru: (c) solusi untuk mengatasi kesulitan belajar matematika yang dialami oleh siswa kelas III pada soal operasi hitung pembagian, antara lain (1) Gerakan literasi, (2) menggunakan alat peraga dalam proses pembelajaran, dan (3) pemberian remedial. ----- Learning difficulties in mathematics (dyscalculia) are learning difficulties that use the most basic aspects of arithmetic skills. Division is a skill that is seen as the most difficult to learn and teach. These difficulties must be addressed immediately so as not to hinder students on the next material. This study aims to, (1) know the difficulties experienced by students in solving the problem of divisional counting operations, (2) know the factors that cause student learning difficulties, and (3) provide solutions to overcome students' learning difficulties in solving the problem of divisional counting operations. The type of research used is qualitative research with a case study model. The subject of this study was 6 grade III students at one of the elementary schools in Purwakarta subdistrict, with different categories of groupings that were reviewed from the initial mathematical abilities of students. 2 people with High Ability, 2 Moderately Capable people, and 2 Low-Skilled People. The data collection techniques used are tested and interviews. The collected data is analyzed using miles and huberman model data analysis which includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that (a) the difficulty of learning the mathematics of divisional counting operations included difficulty using concepts, difficulty using principles, and difficulty solving verbal problems; (b) factors that affect the difficulty of learning mathematics operations calculate division, among others cognitive factors, school factors (classes), teacher factors: (c) solutions to overcome the difficulty of learning mathematics experienced by grade III students on the question of divisional counting operations, among others (1) Literacy movement, (2) using props in the learning process, and (3) remedial administration.
