Abstract

ABSTRAK Rendhika Triady Supendi (1600051), “Pengaruh Gaya Kepemimpinan Transformasional Terhadap Motivasi Kerja Serta Implikasinya Terhadap Employee Engagement PT Sanbe Farma Cimahi Divisi Produksi”. Di bawah bimbingan Hj. Sumiyati, S.E., M.Si dan Masharyono AP, S.Pd., MM Permasalahan employee engagement pegawai masih banyak dihadapi oleh perusahaan di berbagai sektor, baik sektor jasa seperti industri rumah sakit, perbankan, dan telekomunikasi serta pada sektor manufaktur seperti industri elektronik, pribadi, perikanan, dan tekstil. Salah satu perusahaan yang memiliki masalah employee engagement nya masih rendah adalah PT Sanbe Farma Cimahi khususnya divisi produksi. Adapun strategi untuk meningkatkan employee engagement dengan upaya memberikan motivasi dan memperbaiki gaya kepemimpinan perusahaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh temuan terkait (1) keefektifan gaya kepemimpinan transformasional, (2) tingkat motivasi kerja, (3) tingkat employee engagement, (4) pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan transformasional terhadap motivasi kerja, dan (5) pengaruh motivasi kerja terhadap employee engagement. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Adapun teknik sampel yang digunakan yaitu sample jenuh yang berjumlah 73 orang pengumpulan data dengan kuesioner berupa google form. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah regresi sederhana dengan alat bantu software SPSS versi 25.0. Hasil penelitian dapat diketahui bahwa 1) gaya kepemimpinan transformasional berada pada tingkat sangat efektif, 2) motivasi kerja berada pada tingkat sangat tinggi, 3) employee engagement berada pada tingkat sangat tinggi, 4) gaya kepemimpinan transformasional memiliki pengaruh sebesar 71,7% terhadap motivasi kerja berada pada klasifikasi kuat dan 5) motivasi kerja memiliki pengaruh sebesar 53,3% terhadap employee engagement berada pada klasifikasi sedang. Dari penelitian terhadap pengujian hipotesis dapat diketahui bahwa gaya kepemimpinan transformasional memiliki pengaruh terhadap motivasi kerja dan motivasi kerja memiliki pengaruh terhadap employee engagement. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, disarankan agar perusahaan dapat mengefektifkan gaya kepemimpinan transformasional dengan cara memberikan saran dan pelatihan kepada pegawai guna meningkatkan skill, meningkatkan motivasi kerja dengan memberikan penghargaan finansial dan pujian kepada pegawai yang berprestasi dan employee engagement dengan memperhatikan lingkungan kerja agar pegawai senantiasa merasa memiliki terhadap perusahaan. Sehingga diharapkan perusahaan mampu meningkatkan employee engagement yang berdampak pada produktivitas kerja pegawai. Under the guidance of Hj. Sumiyati, S.E., M.Si and Masharyono AP, S. Pd, MM Employee engagement problems are still faced by many companies in various sectors, both in the service sector such as the hospital, banking and telecommunications industry as well as in the manufacturing sector such as the electronics, personal, fishery and textile industries. One company that has low employee engagement problems is PT Sanbe Farma Cimahi, especially the production division. The strategy is to increase employee engagement by providing motivation and improving the company's leadership style. This study aims to obtain findings related to (1) the effectiveness of transformational leadership styles, (2) the level of work motivation, (3) the level of employee engagement, (4) the effect of transformational leadership on work motivation, and (5) the effect of work motivation on employee engagement. This research uses quantitative methods. The sample technique used is a saturated sample, amounting to 73 people. Collecting data with a questionnaire in the form of a google form. The data analysis technique used is simple regression with SPSS version 25.0 as a tool. The results showed that 1) transformational leadership style is at a very effective level, 2) work motivation is at a very high level, 3) employee engagement is at a very high level, 4) transformational leadership style has an influence of 71.7% on motivation work is in the strong classification and 5) work motivation has an effect of 53.3% on employee engagement in the medium classification. From research on hypothesis testing, it can be seen that transformational leadership style has an influence on work motivation and work motivation has an influence on employee engagement. Based on the results of this study, it is suggested that companies be able to make transformational leadership styles effective by providing advice and training to employees in order to improve skills, increase work motivation by giving financial rewards and praise to outstanding employees and employee engagement by paying attention to the work environment so that employees always feel that they belong against the company. So it is hoped that the company will be able to increase employee engagement which has an impact on employee work productivity.
