Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan struktur pertunjukkan dan teknik permainan rebana Asep Serepet. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif untuk menggambarkan fenomena dan kondisi naturalistik melalui bantuan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, studi dokumentasi dan studi pustaka. Data yang terkumpul diolah melalui triangulasi untuk direduksi, dianalisis dan diverifikasi. Kesenian rebana Asep Serepet merupakan hasil kreativitas Asep Rahmat (Asep Serepet). Nama Serepet didapat karena cara jalan Pak Asep yang seserepetan (cepat) dan kurang terkontrol akibat penglihatannya yang kurang berfungsi. Kesenian rebana ini biasa dipertunjukkan tidak hanya untuk mengiringi lagu-lagu bernuansa Islam, tetapi juga dapat mengiringi lagu-lagu pop Sunda dan dangdut dalam mengisi hiburan pada berbagai acara yang disesuaikan dengan kondisi. Temuan hasil penelitian tentang struktur pertunjukkan kesenian rebana ini terdiri dari urutan pertunjukkan meliputi pembuka, isi, penutup, dan elemen pertunjukkan mencakup instrumen yang digunakan, posisi rebana, tempat dan waktu perunjukkan,tata busana, tata rias, lagu-lagu, dan pertunjukkan kesenian rebana Asep Serepet. Teknik permainan rebana yang digunakan, secara garis besar memiliki empat teknik, yaitu teknik tepak, teknik tepuk, serta teknik sintreuk dan teknik sorodot. Kata kunci: Kesenian Rebana The purposes of this research was to descript the showing structure and playing technic of tambourine from Asep Serepet. The research method that is used was descriptive qualitative approach to describe the phenomenon and naturalistic conditions through assistance in the form of data collection techniques of observation, interviews, documentation and literature studies. The collected data is processed through a triangulation to be reduced, analyzed and verified. The Art of Rebana by Asep Serepet was the result of Asep Rahmat creativity (Asep Serepet).Name Serepet obtained because of the way the road Mr. Asep “seserepetan” (fast) and poorly controlled due to the lack of functional vision. The Art of rebana was performed not only to accompany the songs nuances of Islam, but also to accompany the pop songs dangdut in Sundanese and entertainment fill the various events that are tailored to the conditions. The result findings research about the showing structure by the art of rebana was consist of the opening, contents, closing, and the performance element were consist of instruments that was used, rebana position, place and performance time, fashion , makeup, songs, and performing arts rebanaAsep Serepet. The techniques of rebana playing were used an outline has four techniques, namely slap technique, pat techniques, as well as engineering and technical sinteruk, sorodot.
