Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk: 1) mendeskrispsikan pengelolaan program Sekolah Sehat, Berbudaya Lingkungan, Adiwyata sebagai program peningkatan Mutu Kehidupan Kerja (MKK) di sekolah di dua situs penelitian, 2) mendeskrispsikan kondisi MKK sekolah setelah pelaksanaan program, 3) mendeskripsikan dampak program peningkatan MKK terhadap kinerja guru, 4) mengembangkan model hipotetik pengelolaan MKK. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Data digali melalui wawancara, studi dokumen, dan pengamatan. Informan penelitian ini adalah Kepala Sekolah dan guru. Data dianalisis menggunakan komparatif tetap dengan tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: 1) pengelolaan MKK di sekolah kurang efektif, 2) kondisi MKK dalam aspek fisik dan non-fisik dinilai baik dan sekolah telah menjadi tempat yang nyaman untuk beraktivitas, 3) program peningkatan MKK berdampak terhadap kinerja guru dengan kualitas dampak yang berbeda dengan indikasi munculnya motivasi dan lebih lengkapnya fasilitas pendukung tugas guru, 4) untuk meningkatkan kualitas pengelolaan diajukan model hipotetik pengelolaan program MKK. Rekomendasi penelitian adalah perlunya pembinaan mengenai pengelolaan program MKK dan pemberdayaan bagi sekolah, penguatan program Sekolah Sehat, Berbudaya Lingkungan, dan Adiwyata dengan menjadikan kontribusi terhadap kinerja guru menjadi satu tujuan utama program, tujuan integrasi materi lingkungan ke dalam mata pelajaran diperkuat dengan menilai kualitas pembelajarannya, perlu dilakukan penelitian lanjutan mengenai dampak program peningkatan MKK terhadap pembelajaran, prestasi siswa, dan efektivitas sekolah. Kata kunci: Mutu Kehidupan Kerja, Sekolah Sehat, Sekolah Berbudaya Lingkungan, Sekolah Adiwyata, Kinerja Guru The aim of the research are: 1) to describe management of Healthy, Environmental based, and Adiwyata schools' program as Quality of Work Life (QWL) improvement program in the research sites; 2) to describe QWL condition of schools after conducting the program; 3) to describe the program impact towards teacher performance 4) to propose hypothetic model of QWL management. The research use qualitative approach. Data were collected through interview, document analysis, and observation. Research informan are school principals and teachers. Data were analyzed using constant comparative model through data reduction, data presentation. and drawing conclusion. The research found that: 1) QWL program management in school is less effective, 2) school's QWL are in good condition physically and non-physically and viewed as comfort place to work, 3) QWL improvement program give different impact towards teachers performance in the two sites which indicated by motivation growth and increased opportunity to perform, 4) hypothetic model is proposed to increase QWL program management. The research suggests that schools need to improve their capabilities in managing QWL improvement program and community development; enhancing teacher performance need to be one of the main aim of the QWL Improvement Program; quality of learning process need to be one of the main aim not only integration of environmental topics; further research on impact of QWL improvement program towards learning process, students achievement, and school effectiveness need to be conducted.
