Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh Praktik Pengalaman Lapangan (PPL) terhadap kesiapan mahasiswa menjadi guru pada mahasiswa PendidikanTeknikMesin UPI. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif, menggunakan metode deskriptif dan verifikatif. Data yang dianalisis merupakan data yang diperoleh melalui penyebaran angket kepada mahasiswa PendidikanTeknikMesin UPI angkatan 2014/2015 dan 2015/2016 yang sudah melaksanakan kegiatan PPL. Angket PPL tersusun dari 18 item pernyataan dengan 5 alternatif jawaban dan angket kesiapan menjadi guru tersusun dari 25 item pernyataan dengan 5 alternatif jawaban. Pengujian data menggunakan uji normalitas dengan menggunakan rumus uji Kolmogrov-Smirnov dan analisis korelasi dengan menggunakan rumus Pearson product moment. Seluruh pengolahan data menggunakan softwere Microsoft Statistical Product and Service Solution (SPSS) versi 23.0 Dari perhitunganuji t diketahuit_(hitung )t_tabel, sehinggaditarikkesimpulanbahwa PPL berpengaruh positif terhadap kesiapan menjadi guru. Kata kunci : Praktik Pengalaman Lapangan (PPL), kesiapan menjadi guru The purpose of this research is to describe the influence of fieldwork practices (PPL) on university student’s readiness to become teachers of UPI mechanical engineering education students. The design of the research used the quantitative research with descriptive and verification methods. The analyzed data were obtained from questioner distribution to UPI mechanical engineering education students in the 2014/2015 and 2015/2016 classes who had implemented the fieldwork practice. The questioners of fieldwork practices are arranged based on 18 statement items with 5 alternative answers and the readiness to become teachers questioners were arranged from 25 statement items with 5 alternatives answers. The testing data used the normality test with Kolmogrov-Smirnov test formula and correlation analyses used Pearson product moment. All data processing used Microsoft Statistical Product and Service Solution (SPSS) versi 23.0softwere. From T-test calculation was gained that t_(hitung )t_tabel, so, it can be concluded that fieldwork practice had a positive influence to become a teacher.
