Abstract

Dalam penelitian ini fokus permasalahan terdapat pada kinerja guru yang belum optimal pada SMK Negeri yang berada di Kabupaten Ciamis, diduga ketidak tercapai kinerja tersebut dipengaruhi oleh kurangnya motivasi dan etos kerja guru yang kurang.metode yang digunakan menggunakan survey eksplanatori, data yang diperoleh untuk mengetahui tingkat motivasi dan etos kerja guru menggunakan angket yang disebar kepada 51 guru di sekolah. Data yang telah terkumpul dianalisis menggunakan analisisis data deskriptif dan analisis data inferensial. Hasil yang diperolah dari pengolahan data menggunakan analisis deskriptif menunjukan bahwa motivasi kerja guru berada pada kategori kurang dan etos kerja berada pada kategori kurang. Hasil analisis inferensial diperoleh bahwa motivasi dan etos kerja berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja guru secara simultan dan signifikan. Dari hasil analisis data inferensial ini dapat mendukung bahwa hasil kinerja dipengaruhi oleh motivasi dan etos kerja setiap individu. Kata Kunci:Kinerja .Guru, .Motivasi, Etos Kerja In this study, the focus of the problem is on teacher performance that has not been optimal at State Vocational High Schools in Ciamis Regency, it is suspected that the inadequate performance is influenced by a lack of motivation and a lack of teacher work ethic. The method used uses an explanatory survey, data obtained to determine the level of motivation and the work ethic of teachers using a questionnaire distributed to 51 teachers in schools. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive data analysis and inferential data analysis. The results obtained from data processing using descriptive analysis show that teacher work motivation is in the poor category and work ethic is in the poor category. The results of inferential analysis show that motivation and work ethic have a positive effect on teacher performance simultaneously and significantly. From the results of this inferential data analysis can support that the performance results are influenced by the motivation and work ethic of each individual.
