Abstract
Keterampilan membaca merupakan modal awal yang harus dimiliki siswa untuk bisa mengikuti pelajaran di kelas, karena sebagian besar kegiatan belajar dilakukan dengan cara membaca, dilanjutkan dengan memahami apa yang dibaca. Oleh karena itu, membaca harusnya menjadi hal yang sudah tidak perlu dipikirkan bagi siswa sekolah dasar terutama kelas tinggi karena standarnya siswa kelas tinggi sudah bisa membaca lancar dan mampu memahami isi bacaan. Namun pada kenyataannya, masih banyak siswa yang kesulitan dalam membaca terampil sehingga mereka berada dibawah standar kemampuan membaca seharusnya. Masalah tersebut ditemukan di salah satu sekolah dasar negeri di kabupaten pandeglang. Dalam penelitian ini, dijelaskan mengenai penerapan pengajaran kelancaran gaya credo sebagai upaya untuk mengatasi masalah rendahnya keterampilan membaca yang ada di kelas 6 SDN Gombong 8 Kabupaten Pandeglang. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana cara melaksanakan pengajaran kelancaran gaya credo serta bagaimana hasil yang diperoleh siswa setelah mendapatkan pengajaran kelancaran gaya credo ini. Hal ini sangat penting melihat adanya kesenjangan antara fungsi keterampilan membaca dengan kemampuan membaca siswa SDN Gombong 8. Penelitian ini juga bisa menjadi jawaban untuk sekolah tentang bagaimana cara yang efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan membaca siswa yang selama ini menjadi tantangan bagi sekolah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa penerapan pengajaran kelancaran gaya credo ini cukup efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan membaca siswa terbukti dari 6 siswa yang mengikuti pengajaran kelancaran, dua siswa berhasil mencapai standar KBPM sesuai tingkat kelasnya yaitu standar KBPM kelas 6 dan tiga siswa berhasil meningkat dari kelompok kemampuan sebelumnya. Skills reading a capital beginning which must be owned by the students to be able to follow the lessons in class , since most major activities of learning is done by way of reading , followed by understanding what the reading . By because it's , reading should be the case that already do not need thought for the students of the school base mainly grade high because the standard of students grade high 've been able to read fluently and is able to understand the contents of the reading . But in fact , still a lot of students are difficulties in reading skilled so that they are below the standard of ability to read should . It was found in one of the schools the basis of the land in the district Pandeglang . In a study of this , described on the application of the teaching of the smooth style credo as an attempt to overcome the problem lack the skills to read that there are in grade 6 SDN Gombong 8 District Pandeglang . The purpose of research it is to know how how to implement the teaching of the smooth style credo and how the results were obtained by the student after getting instruction smoothness of style credo is . It is very important look at the gap between function skills reading with the ability to read the students of SDN Gombong 8. Research is also could be the answer to the school about how the ways that effective in improving skills of reading students that during this becomes a challenge for school . Methods of research are used in this research is descriptive qualitative with the technique of collection of data through observation , interview and study documentation . The results of this study found that the application of credo style fluency teaching was quite effective in improving students' reading skills as evidenced by 6 students who took fluency teaching , two students succeeded in achieving the KBPM standard according to their class level, namely the grade 6 KBPM standard and three students succeeded in increasing from the ability group before
