    Abstract

    ABSTRAK
    Keberhasilan suatu proyek dapat diukur dariduahal, yaitu keuntungan yang didapat serta ketepatan waktu penyelesaian proyek (Soeharto, 1997).Keduanya tergantung pada perencanaan yang cermat terhadap metode pelaksanaan, penggunaan alat dan penjadwalan.Pemilihan peralatan yang tepat memegang peranan yang sangat penting.Peralatan dianggap memiliki kapasitas tinggi bilaperalatan tersebut menghasilkan produksi yang tinggiatau optimal tetapi dengan biaya yang rendah.Alat konstruksi atau sering juga disebut dengan alat berat menurut Asiyanto (2008), merupakan alat yang sengaja diciptakan/ didesain untuk dapat melaksanakan salah satu fungsi / kegiatan proses konstruksi yang sifatnya berat bila dikerjakan oleh tenaga manusia, seperti : mengangkut, mengangkat, memuat, memindah, menggali, mencampur, dan seterusnya dengan cara mudah, cepat, hematdanaman. AlatBerat yang sering dipakai dalam pelaksanaan proyek pembangunan gedung antara lain : Tower Crane, Concrete Pump, Excavator, Truck Mixer, Trukdan lain–lain. Masing–masinga latt ersebu tmempunyai kelebihan dan kekurangan yang berbeda dari segi kapasitas operasi dan pembiayaan yang dikeluarkan.Dari hasil penelitian diper oleh harga sewa lapangan, sewamenurut AHSP bidang Pekerjaan Umum, dan beli.

    ABSTRACT
    The success of a project can be measured in two ways, namely the benefits and timeliness of project completion (Suharto, 1997). Both depend on careful planning of the implementation of the method, the use of equipment and scheduling. The selection of the right equipment plays a very important. Considered to have a high capacity equipment when the equipment produces high production or optimal but at low cost. Construction tools, or often referred to as heavy equipment according Asiyanto (2008), a tool that inadvertently created / designed to be able to perform any of the functions / activities that are heavy construction process when done by human labor, such as hauling, lifting, loading, moving, digging, mixing, and so in a way easy, fast, efficient and safe. Equipment that is often used in the implementation of building projects include: Tower Crane, Concrete Pump, Excavator, Truck Mixer, Truck and others. Each of these tools have different advantages and disadvantages in terms of capacity and financing operations are excluded. The results were obtained ground rents, leases according AHSP field of Public Works, and purchasing.
