    Abstract

    Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji harga diri dan dukungan sosial terhadap penerimaan diri orang tua yang memiliki anak tunanetra di SLB A Pajajaran Bandung. Metode dalam penelitian ini menerapkan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional satu arah. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 37 orang responden. Penarikan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik sensus. Hasil penelitian ini membuktikan adanya pengaruh positif dan signifikan dari harga diri terhadap penerimaan diri, terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan dari dukungan sosial terhadap penerimaan diri, serta terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan dari harga diri dan dukungan sosial secara simultan terhadap penerimaan diri.
    The objective of this research is to test influence of self-esteem and social support to self-acceptance of the visual impaiment children's parent in SLB (school for children with special needs)-A Pajajaran Bandung. The method applied the quantitative approach with one-way correlational design. The sample is 37 respondents. This sample is done with census technique sampling. The results proved that there is a significant influence of self-esteem to self-acceptance, there is a significant influence of social support to self-acceptance, and there is an influence of both self-esteem and social support simultantly to self-acceptance.
