Abstract

Salawaik Dulang merupakan salah satu jenis kesenian Islami yang ada pada masyarakat Lintau. Sejak awal perkembangannya Salawaik Dulang disenangi masyarakat karena mengandung nilai-nilai yang sesuai dengan prinsip hidup masyarakatnya yang Islami serta sesuai dengan adat istiadat yang mereka junjung tinggi. Rahmadius adalah salah seorang seniman Salawaik Dulang yang berupaya melakukan pelestarian melalui berbagai kegiatan, salah satu upaya yang dilakukan yakni adanya pelatihan Salawaik Dulang di rumahnnya. Upaya Rahmadius menarik untuk didalami dengan fokus kajian: 1) Upaya pengembangan Salawaik Dulang pada masyarakat Lintau; 2) Proses pelatihan Salawaik Dulang oleh Rahmadius; 3) Dampak pengembangan Salawaik Dulang bagi masyarakat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yakni kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Kesimpulan penelitian yakni 1) pengembangan dilakukan melalui: a) pertunjukkan pada Khatam Al-quran, pernikahan, khitanan dan kampanye partai politik; 2) proses pelatihan menggunakan pendekatan andragogi yakni melalui pendekatan kekeluargaan dan menggunakan metode Demostrasi. Secara organisatoris, sistem pelatihan yang digunakan yakni sistem organisasi tradisional tidak terstruktur; 3) Dampak pengembangan Salawaik Dulang yakni: a) bertambahnya minat masyarakat terhadap Salawaik Dulang b) eksistensi Salawaik Dulang masih kuat dalam masyarakat Lintau c) masih difungsikan Salawaik Dulang dalam berbagai kegiatan. Temuan penelitian yakni: Salawaik Dulang masih eksis dan lestari pada masyarakat Lintau karena masih menjunjung hakekat nilai-nilai Islami sesuai dengan falsafah hidupnya. Kata kunci: Pelestarian, Salawaik Dulang. ABSTRACT LASTRI ELITA 2021. Preservasion of Salawaik Dulang by Rahmadius in the Lintau Buo Utara Community Tanah Datar District of West Sumatera. Salawaik Dulang is a type of Islamic art that exists in the Lintau community. Since the beginning of its development, Salawaik Dulang has been favored by the community because it contains values that are in accordance with the principles of the Islamic life of its people and according to the customs that they uphold. Rahmadius is one of the Salawaik Dulang artists who strives to preserve through various activities. One of the efforts made was the Salawaik Dulang training at his home. Rahmadius’ efforts are interesting to explore with a focus of study: 1) efforts to develop the Salawaik Dulang in the Lintau community; 2) the Salawaik Dulang training process by Rahmadius; 3) the impact of the development of Salawaik Dulang for the community. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach. The conclusion of this research is 1) development is a done through; a) performances at Khatam Al-Quran, weddings, circumcisions and political party campaigns; 2) the training process uses an andragogical approach, namely through a kinship approach and using the Demonstrasion method. Organizationally, the training system used is the traditional unstructured organizational system.; 3) the impact of the development of Salawaik Dulang, namely; a) increasing public interest in Salawaik Dulang; b) the existence of Salawaik Dulang is still strong in Lintau society; c) salawaik dulang still functions in various activities. The findings of the study are: Salawaik Dulang still exists and is sustainable in the Lintau community because it still upholds the essence of Islamic values in accordance with its life philosophy.
