Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjadikan siswa lebih aktif dan memaksimalkan potensinya dalam pembelajaran dikelas. Pendekatan penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode penelitian tindakan kelas di SMPN 47 Bandung dilaksanakan selama tiga siklus. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumentasi. Hambatan yang muncul diantaranya guru kurang memaksimalkan waktu belajar, beberapa siswa kurang aktif pada proses pembelajaran, dan guru kurang mampu mengkondisikan kelas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa potensi siswa mengalami perkembangan setelah penerapan model pembelajaran mind mapping, untuk memaksimalkan potensi siswa dilaksanakan melalui berbagai kegiatan dimulai dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan penerapan model pembelajaran yaitu siswa mengalami perkembangan potensi dan aktivitas siswa, memudahkan siswa memahami dan menyerap materi pembelajaran dengan cepat, meningkatkan daya ingat siswa, mengakomodasi berbagai sudut pandang terhadap suatu informasi, memusatkan perhatian siswa dalam mencatat informasi pembelajaran dengan menggunakan mind mapping. Hasil observasi indikator kemampuan partisipasi peserta didik pada tindakan siklus 1 memperoleh kategori “kurang”, pada tindakan siklus 2 memperoleh kategori “baik” dan pada tindakan siklus 3 memperoleh kategori “sangat baik”. Berdasarkan data hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran mind mapping berbasis konsep 3R’s (reduce, reuse, recycle) untuk memaksimalkan potensi dalam pembelajaran PPKn berhasil memaksimalkan potensi siswa.; This study aims to make students more active and maximize their potential in learning in class. Approach the research used a qualitative approach with the method of classroom action research at SMPN 47 Bandung was carried out for three cycles. The technique of data collection is done through observation, interview and documentation study. The obstacles that arise among teachers less to maximize learning time, some students are less active in the learning process, and teachers are less able to condition the class. The results showed that the potential of the students experienced growth after the application of the learning model mind mapping, to maximize the potential of students is conducted through a variety of activities starting from planning, implementation, and application of a model of learning that students experience the development of the potential and the activity of the students, facilitate the students understand and absorb the learning materials quickly, improve memory students, accommodate a variety of viewing angles to the information, focus the attention of students in the noted information learning by using mind mapping. The results of the observation indicator of the ability of the participation of the learners on the action cycle 1 to obtain the category of “less”, on the action of cycle 2 to obtain the category of “good” and on the actions of the cycle of 3 to obtain the category of “very good”. Based on the data results of the study showed that the application of learning model mind mapping-based concept 3R's (reduce, reuse, recycle) to maximize their potential in learning Civics successfully maximize the potential of students.
