Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh kondisi pembelajaran menulis yang masih memerlukan inovasi. Metode penelitian dan pengembangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah research & development Borg & Gall, yang dimofifikasi oleh Sukmadinata. yang terdiri atas tiga tahapan. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, penyebaran angket, observasi dan penilaian produk hasil proyek pembelajaran siswa. Studi pendahuluan dan uji terbatas dilaksanakan di SMPN 12 Bandung. Uji meluas dilaksanakan di SMPN 15 Beandung, SMPN 29 Bandung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (1) profil pembelajaran menulis teks berita yang berlangsung di SMPN 12 Bandung masih rendah guru masih kesulitan dalam membangkitkan motivasi siswa.(2) Rancangan model pembelajaran savi berbasis pendidikan karakter dalam pembelajaran menulis teks berita diharapkan mampu membangkitkan kecerdasan terpadu siswa secara penuh melalui penghubungan gerak fisik dengan aktivitas intelektual. (3) Pengembangan model pembelajaran savi berbasis pendidikan karakter dalam pembelajaran menulis teks berita dilakukan dengan mengikuti tahap teori R&D Borg and Gall. Peneliti melakukan studi pendahuluan, expert judgment dan revisi berdasarkan masukan para ahli. (4) Tanggapan siswa dan guru terhadap penggunaan model pembelajaran SAVI berbasis pendidikan karakter dalam pembelajaran menulis teks berita sangat positif. Hal ini berdasarkan angket, wawancara, dan observasi. (5) Model pembelajaran SAVI berbasis pendidikan karakter efektif dalam pembelajaran menulis teks berita Kata kunci; Model Pembelajaran Savi, Pendidikan Karakter, Menulis Teks Berita This research is motivated by the conditions of learning to write which still require innovation. The research and development method used in this research is research & development by Borg & Gall, which is modified by Sukmadinata. which consists of three stages. Data collection techniques were carried out by interviewing, distributing questionnaires, observing and assessing the results of student learning projects. Preliminary studies and limited trials were carried out at SMPN 12 Bandung. The widespread test was carried out at SMPN 15 Beandung, SMPN 29 Bandung. The results showed (1) the profile of learning to write news texts that took place at SMPN 12 Bandung was still low. The teacher still had difficulty in arousing student motivation. (2) The design of the SAvi learning model based on character education in learning to write news texts was expected to be able to fully generate integrated intelligence of students. by linking physical motion to intellectual activity. (3) The development of the SAvi learning model based on character education in learning to write news texts is carried out by following the stages of Borg and Gall's R&D theory. The researcher conducted a preliminary study, expert judgment and revision based on expert input. (4) The responses of students and teachers to the use of the SAVI learning model based on character education in learning to write news texts are very positive. This is based on questionnaires, interviews, and observations.
