Abstract
Budaya nilai dan norma yang berlaku dalam masyarakat bahwa perempuan harus menjaga harkat martabatnya dengan tidak tampil bersolek, berdandan berlebihan dan tidak menggunakan pakaian yang ketat dan seksi atau perempuan diharapkan dapat berpakaian tertutup dan menghindari tempat-tempat sepi agar tidak terjadi pelecehan, Konstuksi tersebut membentuk pandangan bahwa korban yang menjadi korban pelecehan seksual yaitu mereka yang tidak menjalankan nilai dan norma yang ada dalam masyarakat hal tersebut membuat korban pelecehan seksual disalahkan atas kasus pelecehan seksual yang menimpanya. Namun pada kenyataannya bahwa pelecehan seksual terjadi karena adanya ketidakmampuan pelaku mengendalikan diri. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus, dengan subjek penelitian Mahasiswa korban pelecehan seksual, Mahasiswa pelaku Victim blaming dan Civitas Akademika Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia, teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui metode wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini yang dianalisis dengan teori interasionisme simbolik bahwa victim blaming merupakan persepsi yang selaras dengan kesepakatan bersama mengenai simbol dalam berinteraksi dimana masyarakat yang mengkontruksi banyak ketidakadilan gender seperti cara berpakaian, cara bersikap dan lingkungan kaum perempuan. adanya victim blaming yang berbentuk korban disalahkan cara berpakaian, cara bergaul dan situasi korban dilecehkan selain itu kerap kali korban direndahkan dengan komentar buruk seperti “Da kamu mah cewe binal pantes juga dilecehkan”, terdapat faktor yang mempengaruhi victim blaming kurangnya Pendidikan seks dan kesetaraan gender, sikap dan identitas gender, pengaruh lingkungan dan asumsi patriarki. Victim blaming berdampak buruk terhadap korban terutama pada kesehatan mental korban pelecehan seksual. Kata kunci: Mahasiswa, Pelecehan Seksual, Victim blaming. PHENONEMA VICTIM BLAMING STUDENTS AGAINST VICTIMS OF SEXUAL ABUSE (Case Study on Indonesian University of Education Students) Bunga Suci Shopiani NIM.1606575 ABSTRACT The culture of values and norms that apply in society that women must protect their dignity by not appearing preening, overdressing and not wearing tight and sexy clothes or women are expected to be covered in clothes and avoid quiet places so that there is no harassment. that victims who are victims of sexual harassment, namely those who do not live up to the values and norms that exist in society, this makes victims of sexual harassment blamed for cases of sexual harassment that befell them. However, in reality, sexual harassment occurs due to the perpetrator's inability to control himself. The research design used was a qualitative approach with a case study method, with the research subjects being students who were victims of sexual harassment, students who were perpetrators of victim blaming and the Academic Community of the University of Pendidikan Indonesia. The results of this study were analyzed with the theory of symbolic interaction that victim blaming is a perception that is in line with mutual agreement regarding symbols in interaction where society constructs many gender injustices such as the way of dressing, the way of behaving and the environment of women. There is victim blaming in the form of victim blaming in the form of victim who are blamed for the way they drees, how to hang out and the situation of the victim being harassed. Besides that, the vinctim is often belittled by bad comments such as “You are a naughty girl deserves to be harassed too”, there are factors that affect victim blaming the lack of sex education and gender equality, attitudes and gender identities, environmental influences and patriarchal assumptions. Victim blaming has a negative impact on vinctims, especially on the mental health of victims of sexual harassment. Keywords: Victim blaming, Student, Sexual Harassment
