Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMAN 14 Bandung. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan dan menguji pengaruh tentang kompetensi guru dan motivasi belajar siswa kelas XI IPS pada mata pelajaran akuntansi di SMAN 14 Bandung beserta pengaruhnya. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan metode survey dan verifikatif. Populasi dan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas XI IPS berjumlah 104 siswa. Hal ini dikarenakan teknik pengambilan data yang digunakan yaitu teknik sampling jenuh. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis korelasi ganda dan pengolahan data menggunakan bantuan program SPSS V.21 for windows. Gambaran kompetensi guru pada mata pelajaran akuntansi adalah kompetensi pedagogik dan kompetensi sosial berada dalam kategori tinggi sedangkan kompetensi kepribadian dan kompetensi profesional berada dalam kategori sedang. Adapun gambaran motivasi belajar siswa berada dalam kategori sedang. Berdasarkan analisis data yang yang telah dilakukan menggunakan analisis korelasi ganda maka diperoleh gambaran pengaruh kompetensi guru secara simultan dan parsial. Pengaruh kompetensi pedagogik, kompetensi kepribadian, kompetensi professional, dan kompetensi sosial positif terhadap motivasi belajar siswa sebesar 0,370 atau 37%, sedangkan 63% lainnya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain. Sedangkan pengaruh kompetensi guru secara parsial yaitu kompetensi pedagogik berpengaruh negatif terhadap motivasi belajar sebesar 25,70%, kompetensi kepribadian berpengaruh negatif terhadap motivasi belajar sebesar 9,79%, kompetensi profesional berpengaruh positif terhadap motivasi belajar sebesar 29,81%, dan kompetensi sosial berpengaruh negatif terhadap motivasi belajar sebesar 15,84%.

The research was conducted at SMAN 14 Bandung. The purpose of this research is to describe and examine the effect of the teacher’s competence and student’s learning motivation on accounting subjects in SMAN 14 Bandung, Social Sciences Class Grade XI. This research uses survey and verification method. Populations and samples used in this research are students of class XI IPS with 104 students. This is due to the usage of saturated sampling technique as data collecting techniques. The techniques of data analysis which is used are multiple correlation analysis and data processing using SPSS V.21 for windows. The teacher’s competence in accounting subjects are pedagogical competence and social competence, and it’s in the top category while personal competence and professional competence are in a mediocre category. The picture of the students' motivation is in the medium category. The data analysis that has been done using multiple correlation analysis, results a picture of the influence of the teacher competence, simultaneously and partially. Influence of pedagogical competence, personal competence, professional competence, and social competence positively affect student’s motivation by 0,370 or 37 %, the other 63 % is influenced by other factors. While the influence of partial teacher’s competence which is pedagogical competence, negatively affect motivation by 25,70 % , personal competence negatively affect motivation by 9,79 %, professional competence has a positive effect on learning motivation by 29,81 %, and the effect of social competence negatively affect student’s motivation by 15,84 % .
