Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat kontribusi self compassion dan kelekatan orang tua terhadap celebrity worship pada fans K-Pop di Kota Bandung. Responden (N=233) merupakan fans K-Pop di Kota Bandung mengisi kuesioner yang sudah di adaptasikan ke bahasa Indonesia, Inventory Parent and Peer Attachment (IPPA) untuk mengukur kelekatan orang tua, Celebrity Attitude Scale (CAS) untuk mengukur celebrity worship, dan Self Compassion Scale (SCS) untuk mengukur self compassion. Teknik sampel yang digunakan adalah teknik snow ball. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi berganda untuk mengetahui hubungan self compassion dan kelekatan orang tua terhadap celebrity worship. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa self compassion dan kelekatan dengan orang tua memiliki kontribusi terhadap celebrity worship pada fans K-Pop di Kota Bandung. This study aims to see the contribution of self compassion and parental attachment to celebrity worship among K-Pop fans in Bandung. Respondents (N = 233) who are K-Pop fans in Bandung filled out a questionnaire adapted to Indonesian, Inventory Parent and Peer Attachment (IPPA) to measure parental attachment, Celebrity Attitude Scale (CAS) to measure celebrity worship, and Self Compassion Scale (SCS) to measure self compassion. The sample technique used is the snow ball technique. The data analysis technique used is multiple regression analysis to determine the relationship between self compassion and parents' attachment to celebrity worship. The results of this study indicate that self-compassion and attachment with parents have contributed to celebrity worship among K-Pop fans in Bandung.
