Abstract

Improving employee productivity is very important nowadays. Because the company is always dealing with production targets that must be achieved in order to meet the needs of the market or consumers. The reality of what happened at PT. Surya Usaha Mandiri is the leader still has not provided stimulus and has not shown the expected productivity conditions. The average employee is still not motivated to work, the results of team performance assessments that are still in the category of sufficient, productivity figures that have not reached the target, and cooperation and sharing between team members are still not running effectively. This study aims to find out if intellectual stimulation can improve knowledge sharing that has an impact on the increasing performance of the team. To answer the purpose of this research used organizational theory approach and management theory. The variables studied are intellectual stimulation, knowledge sharing, and team performance. The research was conducted on 33 sections of PT. Surya Usaha Mandiri. The respondents who provided data on this study were 130 employees taken from the 33 sections (teams). The analysis was carried out using the SEM-PLS Structural Equation Model. The results of this study showed that 1) intellectual stimulation affects knowledge sharing, 2) intellectual stimulation affects team performance, 3) knowledge sharing affects team performance, 4) intellectual stimulation through knowledge sharing has a significant effect on team performance.
