Abstract

Berdasarkan pengalaman mengajar kuliah Kinematika dan Dinamika (Kindin) mayoritas peserta didik masih mengalami kesulitan untuk mencapai hasil belajar yang maksimal. Hal ini tercermin dari rekap hasil belajar beberapa semester tiga tahun terakhir. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan produk multimedia berbasis Autodesk Inventor dan Microsoft Excel sebagai alat bantu pengajaran untuk meningkatkan keterampilan generik sains dan penguasan konsep mahasiswa pada materi penerapan kecepatan relatif mata kuliah Kinematika dan Dinamika. Metode pengembangan multimedia menggunakan metode pengembangan mini course oleh Borg dan Gall dengan langkah melakukan analisis dan perencanaan produk yang akan dikembangkan, mengembangkan produk awal, validasi ahli dan revisi, uji coba lapangan dan revisi produk, serta melaporkan dan menerapkan produk. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode experimen dengan desain pre-experimental one grup pretest posttest. Subjek penelitian adalah 30 mahasiswa. Instrumen terdiri dari dua butir tes tulis essay yang terintegrasi dengan keterampilan generik sains, sedangkan untuk penguasan kosep terdiri dari 20 soal pilihan ganda. Data tentang tanggapan mahasiswa terhadap penggunaan multimedia dilakukan dengan menggunakan angkat. Produk multimedi berbasis Auotodesk Inventor dan Microsoft Excel terdiri dari media mekanisme engkol peluncur dengan 9 tampilan, mekanisme empat batang penghubung dengan 8 tampilan, dan mekanisme membalik cepat. Format file multimedia Auotodesk Inventor adalah .idw, .iam, dan .mp4. Hasil judgment menyatakan bahwa multimedia berbasis Auotodesk Inventor dan Microsoft Excel layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran di kelas. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan generik sains mahasiswa mengalami peningkatan dengan rata-rata N-gain sebesar 0,79 yang termasuk dalam kategori tinggi. Peningkatan keterampilan generik sains yang tertinggi pada aspek pemodelan dan hukum sebab akibat (0,85) serta terendah pada aspek bahasa simbolik (0,7). Sedangkan multimedia berbasis Microsoft Excel menghasilkan peningkatan N-gain sebesar 0,70 yang termasuk kategori tinggi. Hasil tanggapan mahasiswa terhadap penggunaan kedua multimedia ini menunjukkan hasil yang positif. Kata kunci: Autodesk Inventor, Microsoft Excel, Keterampilan Generik Sains, Penguasaan Konsep. ABSTRACT Ariyano, 1502737; Development of Animated Multimedia Based on Inventor Applications and Excel Applications to Improve Generic Science Skills and Mastery of Kinematics Concepts for Prospective Vocational School Teachers Based on the experience of teaching Kinematics and Dynamics (Kindyn), the majority of students still have difficulty achieving maximum learning outcomes. This is reflected in the recap of learning outcomes in the last three semesters of the last three years. This study aims to develop and implement multimedia products based on Autodesk Inventor and Microsoft Excel software as teaching aids to improve generic science skills and students' mastery of concepts in the application of relative speed subject in Kinematics and Dynamics course. The development used the mini-course method by Borg and Gall with steps to analyze and plan the products, including developing initial products, expert validation and revisions, field trials and product revisions, and report and implement products. The research used a pre-experimental method with one group pretest-posttest design and 30 students as research subjects. The instrument consists of two essay writing test items integrated with generic science skills, while for concept mastery it consists of 20 multiple-choice questions. Data on student responses to the application of multimedia is carried out using numbers. The multimedia results based on Autodesk Inventor and Microsoft Excel consist of a launcher crank mechanism media with 9 displays and a four-rod mechanism media with 8 displays. Autodesk Inventor multimedia file formats are .idw, .iam, and .mp4. The judgment results stated that multimedia based on Autodesk Inventor and Microsoft Excel was suitable for use in classroom learning. The overall results showed that students' generic science skills had increased with an average N-gain of 0.79, which was included in the high category. The highest increase in generic science skills was in the modeling and causal law aspects (0.85) and the lowest was in the symbolic language aspect (0.7). Meanwhile, multimedia-based on Microsoft Excel resulted in an N-gain increase of 0.70, which is categorized as high. The student responses show positive results on the application of these two multimedia.
