Abstract

ABSTRAK Penggunaan Video Tutorial Maru Terhadap Peningkatan Keterampilan Membuat Mahar Pernikahan Dari Uang Kertas Pada Anak Tunarungu Jehan Nabela Oktaviani (1606771) Anak tunarungu selain diberikan pembelajaran dalam bidang akademik harus diberikan pembelajaran keterampilan, salah satunya merupakan keterampilan membuat mahar pernikahan dari uang kertas. Mengajarkan keterampilan pada anak tunarungu agar anak tunarungu memiliki keahlian yang akan berguna saat anak tunarungu lulus dari sekolah. Membuat mahar pernikahan ini diperlombakan di Festival Lomba Seni Siswa Nasional (FLS2N) sehingga pembelajaran keterampilan membuat mahar pernikahan dari uang kertas harus diajarkan di sekolah. SLB Prima Bhakti Mulia belum mengajarkan keterampilan membuat mahar pernikahan dari uang kertas namun pernah mengikuti perlombaan membuat mahar pernikahan dari uang kertas. Peneliti akan membuat media pembelajaran untuk mengajarkan membuat mahar pernikahan dari uang kertas yaitu dengan video tutorial mahar uang (maru). Video tutorial maru ini berisi video penjelasan tentang nama alat, bahan, cara membuat mahar pernikahan dari uang kertas dengan berisi system bahasa isyarat dan teks bacaan agar anak tunarungu dapat memahami isi dari video tutorial maru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan pengaruh penggunaan video tutorial maru terhadap peningkatan keterampilan membuat mahar pernikahan dari uang kertas pada anak tunarungu dikelas IX SLB B Prima Bhakti Mulia Cimahi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode penelitian eksperimen. dan menggunakan desain one grup Pre Test-Post test design. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes pilihan ganda. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah tujuh anak tunarungu kelas IX SLB B Prima Bhakti Mulia Cimahi. Nilai dari pretest dan posttest diolah serta dibandingkan dengan menggunakan uji Wilcoxon untuk menguji hipotesis penelitian. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa video tutorial maru dapat meningkatkan keterampilan membuat mahar pernikahan dari uang kertas pada anak tunarungu di SLB B Prima Bhakti Mulia Cimahi. Kata Kunci : Anak tunarungu, Video tutorial, Keterampilan ABSTRACT THE EFFECT OF MARU VIDEO TUTORIAL FOR CHILDREN WITH HEARING IMPAIRMENT TO IMPROVE THE SKILLS OF MAKING WEDDING DOWRY FROM MONEY By : Jehan Nabela Oktaviani (1606771) In addition to being given learning in the academic field, children with hearing impairment must be given learning skills, one of which is the skill of making a wedding dowry from paper money. To teach children with hearing impairment skills so that children with hearing impairment have skills that will be useful when they graduates from school. Making a wedding dowry is competed at FLS2N so learning the skills to make a wedding dowry from paper money must be taught in schools. SLB Prima Bhakti Mulia has not yet taught the skills to make wedding dowries from banknotes but has participated in a competition to make wedding dowries from paper money. Researchers will create learning media to teach making wedding dowries from paper money, namely the dowry video tutorial (maru). This maru video tutorial contains an explanatory video about the names of the tools, materials, how to make a wedding dowry from banknotes with a sign language system and reading text so that children with hearing impairment can understand the contents of maru's video tutorial. This study aims to prove the effect of using video tutorials of maru on improving the skills to make wedding dowries from banknotes for children with hearing impairment in class IX SLB B Prima Bhakti Mulia Cimahi. This study uses a quantitative approach with experimental research methods and using one group design Pre Test-Post test design. The instrument used was a multiple choice. The sample in this study were seven children with hearing impairment in class IX SLB B Prima Bhakti Mulia Cimahi. The values of the pretest and posttest were processed and compared using the Wilcoxon test to test the research hypothesis. The results of this study indicate that maru's video tutorial can improve the skills of making a wedding dowry from banknotes for children with hearing impairment at SLB B Prima Bhakti Mulia Cimahi.
