Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan atas dasar landasan teori pendampingan appreciative coaching yang dikemukakan oleh Johnson dan Leavitt ( 1980 ) mengenai belajar dari keberhasilan dalam memandang warga belajar dari sisi positif dan prestasi. Selain itu peneliti merujuk pada landasan teori pendidikan orang dewasa dan kemampuan dasar kewirausahaan sebagai dasar pertimbangan dalam menyusun instrumen penelitian yang peneliti buat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan kemampuan dasar kewirausahaan bagi warga belajar Keaksaraan usaha Mandiri di PKBM Al-Islah Jakarta Pusat dengan menggunakan model Appreciative Coaching. Penelitian ini diterapkan di kelompok belajar Keaksaraan Usaha Mandiri. Subyek penelitian ini adalah warga belajar Keaksaraan Usaha Mandiri yang berjumlah 10 orang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian pra eksperimen dengan pendekatan One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen angket, tes evaluasi, serta portofolio atau yang biasa disebut dengan multi instruments. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu teknik analisis dengan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan mendeskripsikan data serta penyajian secara persentase. Hasil kemampuan dasar kewirausahaan melalui penerapan model Appreciative Coaching ini diperoleh melalui pre test dan post test kepada warga belajar di PKBM Al-Islah Jakarta Pusat, dari 20 item soal yang diujikan maka diperoleh nilai rata - rata uji pemahaman materi pada pre test sebesar 58, pada post test terjadi kenaikan mencapai 78,5. Data mengenai peningkatan hasil kemampuan dasar kewirausahaan melalui penerapan model Appreciative Coaching diperoleh dengan menggunakan pendekatan one-group, pretest-post test design, yakni 78,5 – 58 = 20,5 atau meningkat sebanyak 35,34 %. Melalui penelitian ini dapat diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa penerapan model Appreciative Coaching terbukti mampu memberikan kemampuan dasar kewirausahaan bagi warga belajar Keaksaraan Usaha Mandiri di PKBM Al-Islah Jakarta Pusat. In addition, researchers refer to the basic theory of adult education and basic skills of entrepreneurship as a basis for consideration in preparing instruments for research studies. This study aims to provide the ability for Student Economy Literacy to learn basic entrepreneurial literacy efforts in the CLC Independent Al-Islah Central Jakarta using a model of Appreciative Coaching. This research is applied in the study group Student Economy Literacy. The subjects of this study were residents Independent Business Literacy learning which amounted to 10 people. This study used a pre-experimental research methods to approach One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Collecting data in this study using a questionnaire instrument, test evaluation, as well as a portfolio or commonly referred to as multi-instruments. Data analysis techniques used analysis techniques with quantitative research by describing the data and the presentation by percentage. Results of basic entrepreneurial capabilities through the application of Appreciative Coaching models are obtained through pre-test and post-test to the participants in the CLC Al-Islah Central Jakarta, from about 20 items tested the obtained value - average test understanding of the material in the pre-test was 58, on test post an increase reaching 78.5. Data on yield increase entrepreneurial base capabilities through the application of Appreciative Coaching models obtained using the approach of one-group, pretest-post test design, ie from 78.5 to 58 = 20.5 or increased by 35.34%. Through this research can be concluded that the application of Appreciative Coaching models proved able to provide the ability for Student Economy Literacy in Al-Islah CLC Central Jakarta.
