Abstract

Masalah yang dibahas adalah tentang pengelolaan koleksi di Museum Sri Baduga. Pengelolaan koleksi tersebut dievaluasi guna diketahui serta teridentifikasi hambatan atau kendala pada pengelolaan koleksi tersebut, karena sebuah koleksi dapat berpengaruh terhadap minat masyarakat berwisata budaya di Museum Sri Baduga. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis deskritif, yaitu penelitian yang mengarah kepada pengungkapan suatu masalah atau keadaan dan mengungkapkan fakta-fakta yang ada di lapangan, walaupun kadang-kadang diberikan intepretasi atau analisis. Melalui studi deskriptif akan diidentifikasi kondisi faktual di daerah penelitian kemudian dianalisis berdasarkan data primer dan data sekunder, ini dikarenakan untuk melihat kondisi factual tentang pengelolaan koleksi di Museum Sri Baduga. Sedangkan teknik analisis data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah analisis sebelum di lapangan dan analisis data di lapangan, karena penelitian berdasarkan pada data yang bersifat fakta dan apa adanya. Teori-teori yang digunakan pada penelitian antara lain, tentang permuseuman, pengelolaan koleksi, serta meteode evaluasi. Pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi langsung ke lokasi, angket/kuisioner, wawancara sederhana, serta studi kepustakaan yang bersumber dari pengelola museum. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa sebagian besar prosedur pengelolaan koleksi dalam kondisi yang baik, kecuali ada tiga bagian pengelolaan dalam kondisi kurang baik. Antara lain, proses penomoran, pengklasifikasian, katalogisasi koleksi, proses identifikasi, analisis, perbaikan koleksi, dan yang terakhir adalah ruang penyimpanan koleksi. Semuanya memerlukan pembenahan serta peningkatan kinerja maupun sistem dalam pengelolaan. Hasil penelitian lainnya adalah ada beberapa hambatan atau kendala yang dihadapi, yaitu Sumber Daya Manusia yang kurang kompeten, kurangnya peralatan dan perlengkapan, serta kurang maksimalnya sarana dan prasarana di Museum Sri Baduga. Kata Kunci : Museum Sri Baduga, Pengelolaan Koleksi, Evaluasi. abstract Problem discussed is about the management of the collection at the Museum of Sri Baduga. The collection management evaluated to known and identified barriers or constraints on the management of the collection, because a collection can affect the public interest in the cultural traveled in Sri Baduga Museum. The method used in this study is a descriptive analysis, the research that led to the disclosure of a problem or situation and revealed the facts that is in place, although sometimes given interpretation or analysis. Through descriptive study will be identified factual conditions in the study area were analyzed based on primary data and secondary data, is due to see the factual condition of the collection management in Sri Baduga Museum. While the data analysis techniques used in this research is in the area before the analysis and the analysis of data in the area, because the study is based on data that is fact and what is. The theories used in the study, among others, about the museum, collection management, and evaluation meteode. Data collection using direct observation locations, poll / questionnaire, a simple interview, as well as literature study derived from the management of the museum. The results showed that the majority of collection management procedures are in good shape, except there are three sections in the management of unfavorable conditions. Among other things, the process of numbering, classifying, cataloging the collection, identification, analysis, collection improvement, and the latter is a collection of storage space. All require revamping and improving the systems performance and management. Other research results are there some barriers or obstacles faced, the Human Resources poorly trained, lack of equipment and supplies, and the lack of maximum facilities and infrastructure at the Sri Baduga Museum.
