    Abstract

    Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara dimensi-dimensi yang ada
    pada Big Five Personality dengan Grit pada karyawan di Kota Bandung. Metode penelitian yang
    digunakan yaitu kuantitatif dengan jumlah responden 212 dari jenjang beberapa daerah di kota
    Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan NEO BFI untuk mengukur Big Five Persoanlity dan grit
    scale untuk mengukur grit. Analisis korelasi product momen digunakan untuk analisis data
    dalam mencari hubungan dalam penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa hanya
    opennes to experience dan conscientiousness yang memiliki hubungan yang signifikan dan
    positif dengan grit, untuk koefisien korelasinya masing-masing secara berurutan moderat dan
    kuat. Extraversion, agreeablaness dan neurotcisim tidak memilik hubungan sama sekali dengan
    grit.

    This study aims to determine the relationship between the dimensions in the Big Five Personality
    and Grit on emplo yees in Bandung. The research method used is quantitative with the number
    of respondents 212 from different areas in Bandung. NEO BFI to measure the Big Five
    Personality and the grit scale to measure grit. Product moment correlation analysis is used for
    data analysis in finding relationships in this study. The results showed that only openness to
    experience and conscientiousness had significant and positive relationships with grit, for the
    correlation coefficients respectively were moderate and strong. Extraversion, agreeableness, and
    neuroticism have no relationship at all with grit.
