Abstract

ABSTRAK Rizqi Herwina Akbar (1504100). Pengaruh Gaya Humor Terhadap Kepuasan Hidup yang Dimoderasi oleh Self-Compassion pada Mahasiswa di Kota Bandung. Skripsi. Departemen Psikologi, Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (2020). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh gaya humor terhadap kepuasan hidup yang dimoderasi oleh self-compassion pada mahasiswa di Kota Bandung. Pendekatan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Jumlah responden pada penelitian ini sebanyak 807 mahasiswa yang berkuliah di Kota Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan tiga instrumen, yaitu Humor Style Questioneer (HSQ) untuk mengukur gaya humor, The Satisfaction with Life Scale (SWLS) untuk mengukur kepuasan hidup dan Self-Compassion Scale (SCS) untuk mengukur self-compassion. Teknik analisis pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). Penelitian ini menghasilkan: 1) Terdapat pengaruh gaya humor terhadap kepuasan hidup; 2) Terdapat pengaruh self-compassion terhadap kepuasan hidup; 3) Self-compassion tidak memoderasi pengaruh gaya humor terhadap kepuasan hidup; 4) Terdapat pengaruh gaya humor affiliative terhadap kepuasan hidup; 5) Terdapat pengaruh gaya humor self-enhancing terhadap kepuasan hidup; 6) Gaya humor aggressive tidak dapat digunakan pada penelitian ini; 7) Terdapat pengaruh gaya humor self-defeating terhadap kepuasan hidup. This study aims to determine the effect of humor on life satisfaction mediated by self-compassion on college students in Bandung. This research used a quantitative approach. The respondents in this study were 807 students who studying in Bandung. This study used three instruments, there are the Humor Style Questioneer (HSQ) to measure humor, The Satisfaction with Life Scale (SWLS) to measure life satisfaction and the Self-Compassion Scale (SCS) to measure self-compassion. The data in this study analyzed by a Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) technique. The result of this study is: 1) There is an effect of humor styles on life satisfaction; 2) There is an effect of self-compassion on life satisfaction; 3) Self-compassion does not moderate the effect of humor styles on life satisfaction; 4) There is an effect of affiliative humor on life satisfaction; 5) There is an effect of self-enhancing humor on life satisfaction; 6) Aggressive humor cannot be used in this study; 7) There is an effect of self-defeating humor on life satisfaction.
