Abstract

The study titled the influence of traditional games to social science studies learning on social skills of elementary school students aims to find out how much influence the learning of social studies that applies traditional games as a learning model on the skills of elementary school students. The reason researchers take traditional games as a learning model is that traditional games have social aspects that can train the social skills of elementary school students. This research is a quasi-experimental study. The results show that the traditional game as a learning model influences the improvement of the social skills of elementary school students. Judging from the results of the N Gain for classes that get treatment included in the category quite effective. This is due to the diverse social skills of students.
