Abstract
Tuntutan sebagai seorang mahasiswa akan menghadapi pola-pola interaksi sosial yang lebih luas dan beragam. Interaksi sosial dengan kelompok teman sebaya berpengaruh dalam perkembangan yang dialami oleh mahasiswa. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan layanan yang melibatkan mahasiswa lain sebagai tutor, dan layanan yang diberikan oleh tutor ditentukan dengan oleh kompetensi pribadinya. Program Tutorial merupakan penerapan peer helper di Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. Penelitian bertujuan untuk merumuskan kompetensi pribadi tutor yang diharapkan oleh tutee dan tutor program tutorial PAI UPI, sebagai acuan pengembangan program pelatihan kompetensi pribadi tutor. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian yaitu tutor dan peserta program tutorial PAI UPI tahun ajaran 2012/2013 dengan sampel penelitian tutor 39 dan tutee 224. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan gambaran kompetensi pribadi tutor yang diharapkan oleh tutee dan tutor Program Tutorial UPI tergolong dalam kriteria tinggi. Rekomendasi untuk peneliti selanjutnya yaitu untuk mengembangkan program pelatihan untuk seorang tutor secara terpadu berdasarkan pemanfaatan profil kompetensi pribadi tutor sehingga dapat dimanfaatkan menjadi salah satu media layanan bimbingan dan konseling di UPI. Kata Kunci : Kompetensi Pribadi Tutor, Peer Helper The demand as a student to face expanding and variety social interaction system. Social interaction with peer groups influence towards the development of student’s progress. Therefore, it’s needed service which involves another student as tutor, and giving service by tutor curtained with his personal competence. Tutorial Program as a peer helper implementation in UPI. The Research purposes to formulating tutor’s personal competence which is expected by tutee and the tutor of PAI’s UPI Tutorial Program as reference of the developing of training program’s tutor personal competence. This research use quantitative descriptive method. The research population are tutor and participant of UPI’s PAI Tutorial Program year of 2012/2013 with 224 tutee and 39 tutor as research sampling. The outcome of research shows description of tutor’s personal competence which is expected by tutee and the tutor of UPI’s PAI Tutorial Program classed as high criteria, the recommendation for the research, next is to developing training program for a tutor, so it’s able to used to become one of media of guidance and counseling in UPI.
