Abstract
Keterampilan sosial merupakan aspek penting bagi setiap siswa dalam kehidupan sosial. Pengembangan keterampilan sosial dapat dilakukan melalui pemanfaatkan kegiatan organisasi. Satu-satunya organisasi resmi yang ada di sekolah adalah Organisasi Siswa Intra Sekolah (OSIS). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kondisi keterampilan sosial siswa, mendeskripsikan gambaran program kerja OSIS yang dapat mengembangkan keterampilan sosial siswa, mendeskripsikan peranan OSIS dalam mengembangkan keterampilan sosial siswa, serta mengidentifikasi kendala dan upaya OSIS dalam mengembangkan keterampilan sosial siswa di SMP Negeri 15 Bandung. Penelitian menggunakan jenis pendekatan kualitatif model penelitian fenomenologi. Temuan penelitian ini yaitu sebagai berikut : 1) Kondisi keterampilan sosial siswa berbeda-beda, sebab dipengaruhi oleh faktor lingkungan keluarga, teman sebaya, dan masyarakat; 2) Terdapat program kerja OSIS yang dapat mengembangkan keterampilan sosial siswa diantaranya libels got talent, PORSENI, 17 Agustusan, bakti sosial, razia rutin, upacara bendera, dan latihan kepemimpinan siswa; 3) OSIS memiliki peranan dalam mengembangkan keterampilan sosial siswa yang dibuktikan melalui berbagai perubahan perilaku siswa menjadi lebih baik lagi; 4) Kendala yang dialami yaitu kurangnya kepercayaan diri untuk memecahkan masalah secara cepat, ijin dari orangtua, pendanaan, waktu pelaksanaan kegiatan, dan kurangnya minat terhadap kegiatan. Adapun upaya yang dilakukan adalah dengan membina komunikasi yang baik, mencari donatur, membuat konsep acara yang lebih menarik, dan setiap kegiatan selalu dikoordinasikan dengan Pembina OSIS. Kata Kunci : Keterampilan Sosial Siswa, Organisasi, Organisasi Siswa Intra Sekolah (OSIS) Social skills are an important aspect for every student in social life. Development of social skills can be through the utilization of the organization's activities. Social skills development can be done through making use of organizational activities. The only one the official organization in the school is Intra School Student Organization (OSIS). This study aims to describe the condition of the student's social skills, the role of Intra School Student Organization in developing student social skills, and identify Intra School Student Organization constraints and efforts in developing student social skills at SMP Negeri 15 Bandung. This research uses a qualitative approach to the phenomenological research model. The findings of this study are as follows: 1) The condition of students' social skills varies, because affected by environmental factors such as family, peers, and society; 2) There is an OSIS work program that can develop students' social skills, among others libels got talent, PORSENI (Sport and Art Week), 17 Agustusan, social service, routine raids, flag ceremonies, and student leadership training; 3) OSIS has a role in developing students' social skills as evidenced by various changes in student behavior for the better; 4) The obstacles experienced are lack of confidence to solve problems quickly, permission from parents, funding, time to implement activities, and the lack of interest in activities. Efforts are made to foster good communication, seek donors, create more interesting event concepts, and every activity is always coordinated with Advisor of Intra School Student Organization.
