Abstract
Penelitian ini membahas pengaruh status sosial ekonomi keluarga terhadap kematangan karir siswa sekolah menengah kejuruan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan kematangan karir, status sosial ekonomi keluarga dan kemtangan karir berdasarkan status sosial ekonomi keluarga. Sampel dalam penelitian siswa kelas IX SMK Negeri 1 Bandung Tahun Ajaran 2019/2020 berjumlah 177 orang yang dipilih menggunakan teknik random sampling. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitaan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dan metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah kematangan karir dan angket status sosial ekonomi keluarga. Data dianalisis menggunakan aplikasi SPSS16 dengan uji analisis regresi linear sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan mayoritas tingkat kematangan karir kelas IX SMK Negeri 1 Bandung Tahun Ajaran 2019/2020 berada pada kategori sedang. Mayoritas status sosial ekonomi keluarga berada dalam kategori menengah. Karir yang matang terdiri atas status sosial ekonomi keluarga menengah. Hasil menunjukan bahwa status ekonomi keluarga bawah tidak rendah dalam kematang karir. Sejalan dengan hasil uji analisis yang telah dilakukan menggunakan uji analisis regresi linear sederhana untuk mengetahui pengaruh status sosial ekonomi keluarga terhadap kematangan karir siswa. Hasil analisis menunjukkan status sosisal ekonomi keluarga tidak berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kemtangan karir siswa kelas IX SMK Negeri 1 Bandung Tahun Ajaran 2019/2020. This study discusses the effect of family socioeconomic status on career maturity of vocational high school students. The purpose of this study is to describe career maturity, family socioeconomic status and career advancement based on family socioeconomic status. The sample in this study were 177 students in class IX of SMK Negeri 1 Bandung for the 2019/2020 academic year who were selected using random sampling techniques. The approach used in this research is a quantitative approach and the method used is descriptive. The instruments used in this study were career maturity and a family socioeconomic status questionnaire. Data were analyzed using the SPSS16 application with a simple linear regression analysis test. The results showed that the majority of the grade IX career maturity level of SMK Negeri 1 Bandung for the 2019/2020 academic year was in the medium category. The majority of family socioeconomic status is in the middle category. A mature career consists of the socioeconomic status of the middle family. The results show that the economic status of the lower family is not low in career progression. This is in line with the results of analysis tests that have been carried out using simple linear regression analysis to determine the effect of family socioeconomic status on student career maturity. The results of the analysis show that the economic status of the family does not have a significant effect on the career advancement of class IX students of SMK Negeri 1 Bandung in Academic Year 2019/2020.
