Abstract

ABSTRAK Elda Zelhani R (1605071). Pengaruh Pemantauan Orang Tua terhadap Perilaku Seksual Pranikah Dimoderasi oleh Kontrol Diri pada Remaja Di Kota Bandung. Skripsi. Departemen Psikologi, Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (2020). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemantauan orang tua terhadap perilaku seksual pranikah dimoderasi oleh kontrol diri pada remaja di Kota Bandung. Pendekatan penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitaif. Jumlah responden pada penelitian ini sebanyak 435 orang remaja di Kota Bandung yang berusia 15-18 tahun. Penelitian ini menggunakan tiga instrumen, yaitu Parental Monitoring Scale (PMS) untuk mengukur pemantauan orang tua, pengukuran perilaku seksual pranikah untuk mengukur tingkat perilaku seksual pranikah dan Self Control Scale-Full Version (SCS-FV) untuk mengukur kontrol diri. Teknik analisis pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). Penelitian ini menghasilkan: 1) Terdapat pengaruh pemantaan orang tua terhadap perilaku seksual pranikah; 2) Terdapat pengaruh kontrol diri terhadap perilaku seksual pranikah; 3) Kontrol diri memoderasi pengaruh pemantauan orang tua terhadap perilaku seksual pranikah. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa hadirnya kontrol diri memperkuat pengaruh pemantauan orang tua dalam perkembangan remaja terhadap menurunnya tingkat perilaku seksual pranikah. The Effect of Parental Monitoring towards Premarital Sexual Behavior Moderated Self Control on Adolescents in The City of Bandung. Bachelor’s Thesis. This study aims to determine the effect of parental monitoring on premarital sexual behavior that are moderated by self control on adolescents in the city of Bandung. The research approach uses a quantitative approach. The number of respondents in this study were 435 teenagers in the city of Bandung aged 15-18 years. This study uses three instruments, namely Parental Monitoring Scale (PMS) to measure parental monitoring, Premarital Sexual Behavior Scale to measure premarital sexual behavior, and Self Control Scale Full Version (SCS-FV) to measure self control. The analysis technique in this study uses the Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) analysis technique. This research results: 1) There is a parental monitoring effect on premarital sexual behavior; 2) There is an influence of self control on premarital sexual behavior; 3) self control moderates the effect of parental monitoring on premarital sexual behavior. From this study, it can be concluded that the presence of self control can strengthen the influence of parental monitoring in adolescent development on decreasing levels of premarital sexual behavior.
