Abstract

The choice of a method is very important in implementing a construction project because the right method of implementation can give the best results, especially in terms of cost. In the implementation of concrete work, there are several methods including in situ casting and precast. This research will compare the use of both methods in terms of cost and implementation of floor slabs and cost modeling, as a case study of the parking building construction project at the Indonesian Education University. The results of the study, the cost of concrete slab construction work using in situ the total price per m3 of Rp. 2,265,113.55 consisting of the total wage price in situ per m3 of Rp. 338,956.55, for the total price of materials in situ per m3 of Rp. 1,876,156.99, for the total price of equipment in situ per m3 of Rp. 50,000. The cost of concrete slab construction work using precast, the total price per m3 is Rp. 2,214,740.09 with a total price of precast wages per m3 of Rp. 187,615.28, for the total price of precast materials per m3 of Rp. 1,822,009.82, for the total price of precast equipment per m3 of Rp. 205,114.98. The difference in cost by using in situ concrete work and precast is the difference in price of Rp. 50,373.46. The percentage difference is the wages of 44.65% for materials 2.89% and 75.62% for tools. The percentage difference for the total price is 2.22%. Cost modeling of concrete slab work using the In Situ method is Y1 = Rp. 1,876,156 X + Rp. 50.000 X + 338,956 X modeling the cost of concrete slab work using the Precast method is Y2 = Rp. 1,822,009 X + Rp. 205,114 X + 187,615 X. Where X is the volume. This model is useful if there is a change in the volume of concrete slab work, the cost changes that will occur will be obtained immediately.
