    Abstract

Judul penelitian ini adalah “Pengembangan Model ENGKLE Berbasis Permainan Tradisi untuk Meningkatkan Kompetensi Penciptaan Tari Anak”. ENGKLE adalah singkatan dari Entering in Environment, Navigation, Googling, Knitting, Locking and Presenting and Evaluation. Konsep tersebut diberi nama ENGKLE (Entering in environment, Navigasi, Googling, Knitting and Validation, Evaluation), sedangkan paradigma kuantitatif untuk pengukuran penggunaan model. Keywords: Choreography, children's dance, ENGKLE, games, tradition. The title of the research is "Development of the ENGKLE Model Based on Tradition Games to Increase the Competence of Children's Dance Creation". ENGKLE is an abbreviation of Entering in Environment, Navigation, Googling, Knitting, Locking and Presenting and Evaluation. While the formulation published is describing the objective learning of Dance Composition Basic Course, describing the choreographic forms of Sundanese children's traditional games, formulating the concept and design of the model, implementing the model, synthesizing the learning outcomes and working on the ENGKLE assistance model. The purpose of this study is to discuss the concepts and practices of dance composition for prospective dance teachers in making children's dance based on traditional games. The method used in this research is the R&D method. Research that combines qualitative research with quantitative research. Qualitative paradigms are used to analyze and synthesize compositional theories and concepts from McCutchen (2006), Gilbert (2002), Hawkins, (1964), Smith (1985), Lavender (2006), Sardono (2015) and Supriyanto (2018) for concept definitions children's dance. The concept is given the name ENGKLE (Entering the environment, Navigation, Googling, Knitting and Validation, Evaluation), while the quantitative paradigm for measuring using the model. The ENGKLE concept was tested limited to three prospective dance teachers in the Department of Dance Education, FPSD, UPI and 52 students on extensive testing through the Children's Dance Composition Course The results showed, the percentage test was smaller than the percentage of post-test, namely pre-test (21.37%) and post-test (93.13%). From these results it can be seen from the ENGKLE method that is implemented so that the effectiveness and competence of increasing fares on students increases. Keywords: Choreography, children's dance, ENGKLE, game, tradition.
